5 On My TBR| Title Starting with an ‘E’

As I’ve mentioned before, one of my important reading goals of 2023 is shrinking my physical TBR. Sometimes it’s hard to think of what books I still have or subjects I want to read about. So we needed a way to keep track of this. 5 On My TBR is a way of keeping track. This is a meme hosted by E from Local Bee Hunter’s Nook. Every week there’s a different prompt for five on my TBR.

This week’s topic is title starting with an ‘E’. I’ll have to look through my list of unread books for this prompt, but I have a feeling I’ll have at least five books on my TBR that have a title that starts with this letter.

Everless – Sara Holland

Everless released five years ago and I think that’s a sign I really need to read it. The concept is an interesting one. Time is currency that is extracted from blood. This can have a lot of consequences. I think I bought it for a signing. I’ll have to look at my copy later.

Everyday Angel – V.E. Schwab

Everyday Angel is a bind up of three middle grade novels about a guardian angel and the girls she’s sent to help. V.E. Schwab is one of my favorite authors and I’ve enjoyed her other middle grade trilogy, so I want to see what this one is about.

Every Exquisite Thing – Laura Steven

Laura Steven wrote one of my favorite books, The Exact Opposite of Okay, so I will read anything she writes. Every Exquisite Thing is her newest book and it’s a YA horror-thriller story. We’ve hit the perfect time of year for these kind of stories and the cover is stunning!!

Empire of the Vampire – Jay Kristoff

I have a beautiful Illumicrate edition of Empire of the Vampire, but still haven’t read it. Even though I’ve heard so many amazing things about this book. The biggest reason I haven’t picked this one up is probably that this book is almost 800 pages. I’ve been enjoying bigger books lately, so it’s time to read this one before the sequel releases next year.

Electric Idol – Katee Robert

So the Dark Olympus series is  based on Greek mythology and each book is a retelling. I’ve seen these books around for quite some time and I finally read Neon Gods a couple of months ago. I loved it so much that I picked up the next book, Electric Idol. This is a Psyche and Eros retelling.

This post was actually pretty surprising, because out of the 400+ unread books on my shelves only 6 have titles that start with the letter ‘E’. I’m sure there would be more if I took away the word ‘the’, but I didn’t pay attention to that. Have you read any of these? Or do you have any other titles that start with ‘E’ on your TBR? Let me know in the comments! I’d love to hear from you.
