Review| Where I Belong – J. Daniels

J. Daniels is an author I will read anything by and my love of her books started with the Alabama Summer series. I actually read these books in May 2017, so just a few months before starting this blog. This week I decided to do a re-read of the first book in this series, Where I Belong. I had the audiobook and loved every minute of this book again, so I decided it was time to share that love for this series. Keep on reading to find out more about the book and what I thought of this book!

Bookish Item | Cosy Mysteries I Want to Read

Slowly but surely fall is coming! And with fall I just really like to read (more) cosy mysteries. I came across another cosy mystery I want to read last week and it was actually the theme for 5 On My TBR. Since I usually don’t get them as physical books, I didn’t do that post. But I like to talk about them anyway so I figured why not make another post about them haha. Let’s take a look at some cosy mysteries I want to read! TTT #200 | Fictional Crushes

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is Fictional Crushes. And oh my, do I have some haha. Before we start I want to clarify something. A couple of these characters are underage. When I read and fell in love with them I was a lot younger! While I still love reading about these characters, I don’t actually have a crush on them, as that would be weird. It’s more like I wish I had a guy like that when I was growing up if that makes sense? I do love talking about them so all that’s left to say is, let’s jump in! 5 On My TBR| Books Set at Boarding Schools

Tracking your TBR is pretty important when it’s quite large, haha. Besides Down the TBR Hole and my Netgalley Backlist I needed something to track my physical TBR. 5 On My TBR is a way of keeping track. This is a meme is hosted by E from Local Bee Hunter’s Nook. Every week there’s a different prompt for five on my TBR.

This week’s topic is a Back to School Freebie. So I decided to talk about books that take place at my favorite bookish setting: boarding schools. So let’s take a look at 5 books on my TBR that are set at boarding schools.

Down the TBR Hole #61

So once again it’s only been a week since my last Down the TBR Hole, but seeing how I’ve added 5 books to my want to read shelf since then it’s not a bad thing! Let’s see if I can do as well as last week.

Down the TBR Hole was originally created over at Lost in a Story. It looked like a fun and productive way to finally make a dent in that Goodreads TBR. I went through my want-to-read shelf a little while ago but I think I was still to kind on a lot of books. Let’s see what I’ll make of it this time around. I decided to go with 10 books at a time so lets get started!

Buddy Review | The Extraordinaries – TJ Klune

We finally did a buddyread of The Extraordinaries by T.J. Klune! It’s been over a year since we got our eARC’s for this one and while we were very excited about it, we just didn’t pick it up. But after loving The House In The Cerulean Sea we realized we really had to get going on The Extraordinaries. It still took us a while, but we finally read it haha, and now we want to share our thoughts. So let’s jump in! Continue reading “Buddy Review | The Extraordinaries – TJ Klune”

Bookish Item| September TBR

It’s almost the end of August and that means it’s time to think about what I want to read next month. Of course, I have some group/buddy reads planned, there are some ARCs and a few books I just really hope to get to. My August TBR didn’t quite go to plan, but I never expect it to. It’s just an idea of what I want to read that’s almost always changes. So if you want to know what I hope to read in September, keep on reading!
