We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!
Today is the first day of the new school year! And that means I’m starting my new job. I did already work last week to get everything ready. You can definitely say I’m nervous but I’m also really excited. Before that I was sick so I didn’t really do that much this past week. Basically everything was about my new job haha. I hope to have a more exciting update next time ;).
No new eARC’s this week but that’s good haha. I am slowly making my way through a couple eARC’s so I’m happy.
I haven’t been reading as much as I wanted but I did finish The Extraordinaries, The Hawthorne Legacy and Quincredible vol. 2. Currently reading; All Of Us Villains and Death by Dumpling. Candyce and I plan on reading These Violent Delights next but other than that I don’t have any plans.
It’s clear that I’m too busy for my own good, I still don’t have any bookish news!
I got a nice planner for the coming school year. Thought I deserved it since I’m starting my teaching job today ;).
Since last week was my last week of vacation I watched A TON of Netflix haha. I also was on a comedy kick so I watched all of Iliza Shlesinger and Michelle Buteau. Last week I also finished Salvation and Love, Victor. I started the last season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine and the new show Heels. And I once again binged a ton of Chicago episodes. I’m getting close to being caught up now!
Every now and then you just feel like listening to something right? And for me that was Ed Sheeran haha. After listing to his newest song, Visiting Hours, I just had to listening to all his other songs. I just kept going and going haha.
And that was my update! It wasn’t super exciting I think, but it is what it is haha. Have you had a good end of summer? Fall isn’t here exactly but to me it does feel like summer is over!
