Down the TBR Hole #41

I don’t expect this Down the TBR Hole to be that exciting. I posted the last one two weeks ago. I’m typing this one a week later (I’m finally working ahead again, haha). So I don’t think I’ve added a lot of books since the last time. It’s still good to keep cleaning out my want-to-read shelf!

Down the TBR Hole was originally created over at Lost in a Story. It looked like a fun and productive way to finally make a dent in that Goodreads TBR. I went through my want-to-read shelf a little while ago but I think I was still to kind on a lot of books. Let’s see what I’ll make of it this time around. I decided to go with 10 books at a time so lets get started!

Review | The Inheritance Games – Jennifer Lynn Barnes

Candyce participated in the blogtour for The Inheritance Games a little while ago but I really wanted to share my thoughts as well. Jennifer Lynn Barnes is one of my favorite authors and I truly think she is underrated. Yes she has a extended backlist and a lot of people probably heard about her, but I don’t think nearly enough people actually read her books or in any case, not enough people talk about reading her books! So here’s my review on her newest book. Continue reading “Review | The Inheritance Games – Jennifer Lynn Barnes”

Bookish Item | Netgalley Books I Need to Read (And Already Own)

Isabelle and I were talking recently about our Netgalley books. I still have to review so many and I’m failing terribly at my goal to get my feedback ratio to 80% this year. That’s when I started things about the books I’ve got on Netgalley and need to read. I already own a lot of these physically now as well. Let’s take a look at which ones have already appeared on my shelves before reading my e-arc! Hopefully this will motivate me to prioritize these.

Can’t Wait Wednesday | Lore – Alexandra Bracken

We wanted to do another bookish meme on Wednesday and after doing Can’t Wait Wednesday a few times we decided that would be a fun one to bring around more often! About twice a month you’ll see this meme on our blog.

Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally they’re books that have yet to be released. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine. Continue reading “Can’t Wait Wednesday | Lore – Alexandra Bracken”

TTT #157 | Books with Single Word Titles (I Want to Read)

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is Non-Bookish Hobbies, but I’m not feeling that one this week. So I decided to look back at older topics and saw Books with Single Word Titles. I added the that I want to read part to it. Let’s see what books are on my list!

Today we want to talk about what we read last month. Did we have a good reading month and enjoy what we picked up? Keep on reading our October wrap up to find out!
