5 On My TBR| Number in the Title

As I’ve mentioned before, one of my important reading goals of 2023 is shrinking my physical TBR. Sometimes it’s hard to think of what books I still have or subjects I want to read about. So we needed a way to keep track of this. 5 On My TBR is a way of keeping track. This is a meme hosted by E from Local Bee Hunter’s Nook. Every week there’s a different prompt for five on my TBR.

This week’s topic is number in the title. There are already a few I can think of, so let’s see what books are on my TBR that fit this criteria.

Down the TBR Hole #102

Since my last Down the TBR Hole I’ve managed to read two books from my want to read shelf, so my want to read shelf has two less books than my last post. I also haven’t added any new books! I’m proud of myself.

Down the TBR Hole was originally created over at Lost in a Story. It looked like a fun and productive way to finally make a dent in that Goodreads TBR. I went through my want-to-read shelf a little while ago but I think I was still to kind on a lot of books. Let’s see what I’ll make of it this time around. I decided to go with 10 books at a time so lets get started!

Review | Heir of Fire – Sarah J. Maas

I’m rereading the Throne of Glass series and since I never reviewed these books (apart from Tower of Dawn) I thought it would be fun to do that this time around. In the last two weeks I shared my reviews for Throne of Glass and Crown of Midnight and today I want to share my thoughts on Heir of Fire. Let’s jump in!

Bookish Item | June TBR

We’re nearing the end of May, so I’ve been starting to think about what I want to read in June. I have been mood reading and loving it lately, so I will mostly continue to do that. Here are some books I’ve been wanting to read. I don’t know how many I will end up reading, but I’m hoping at least a few.

Review | Crown of Midnight – Sarah J. Maas

I have been rereading the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas and realised I never reviewed the books or maybe just one or two. So I wanted to rectify that mistake right away. Today I wanted to share my thoughts on Crown of Midnight, book 2 in the series. So let’s dive in! As with the previous review, there might be some spoilers. Can’t Wait Wednesday | The Brothers Hawthorne – Jennifer Lynn Barnes

We wanted to do another bookish meme on Wednesday and after doing Can’t Wait Wednesday a few times we decided that would be a fun one to bring around more often! About twice a month you’ll see this meme on our blog.

Can’t Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally they’re books that have yet to be released. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine. Continue reading “Can’t Wait Wednesday | The Brothers Hawthorne – Jennifer Lynn Barnes”

TTT #289| Things Getting in the Way of Reading

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is Things Getting in the Way of Reading. I don’t know if I have ten things that keep me away from reading, but I’m sure I can think of a few!
