We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week’s topic is a Valentine’s freebie so I decided to go with books I would like to read on or around Valentine’s Day. We all know there is no way I’ll be reading 10 books this week, or even this month haha. But it’s still fun to talk about them! So let’s jump in.
1. Save the Date – Morgan Matson
This one has been on my TBR for awhile and I’m sure it’ll be a quick and fun read. I’ve enjoyed what I’ve read from Morgan Matson so far and I have good hopes I’ll enjoy this one as well. It might not be a 5 star read but I’m going for a 4 star at least!
2. The Unexpected Everything – Morgan Matson
And another Morgan Matson book! I think I will enjoy the first book a bit more but I’m still excited about this one as well. When it was released there were a lot of positive reviews, but I hope I haven’t outgrown this type of novel since then.
3. A Pound of Flesh – Sophie Jackson
My friends adored this book so much. I definitely got this one, and the next ones, because of them. These aren’t my favorite types of books so maybe I’ll do a try a chapter for these as well. If I’m ever going to pick them up, this seems like the perfect time of year.
4. Full Measures – Rebecca Yarros
Like the one above, my friends love this series. Rebecca Yarros is one of their favorite authors and whenever there is a new book everyone starts swooning. So I have to see what all the hype is about haha. I have pretty good hopes for her books.
5. Wait for You – Jennifer L. Armentrout
And the last one I got because of my friends haha. We went to an event with Jennifer L. Armentrout so I have a signed copy! I actually have a couple of books by her I want to read. If I’m not starting with this one it will probably be From Blood and Ash.
6. The Winner’s Curse – Marie Rutkoski
This one has been on my TBR forever. I also have the first book in the spinoff series but I want to read this series first. It’s an older one now but hopefully it’s still enjoyable! I can’t believe this one was released almost 10 years ago.
7. The Deal – Elle Kennedy
I love a good sports romance and this has become a classic in that genre in my opinion. Everyone seems to have read this one so I can’t stay behind. At some point I have to pick this one up, I think I will really enjoy it.
8. The Roughest Draft – Emily Wibberley & Austin Siegemund-Broka
I have a ton of books by these authors on my wishlist and I have yet to read one. This is one that sounds really good and like something I would enjoy. I might try their YA novels as well if I like this one.
9. Get a Life, Chloe Brown – Talia Hibbert
I started reading this one a long time ago and I have to pick it back up. What I read so far was enjoyable and with all the high praise this series is getting I really want to see for myself if it is worth the hype.
10. Never Ever Getting Back Together – Sophie Gonzales
I had an eARC for this one and I can’t believe I haven’t read it yet! Sophie Gonzales is slowly making her way onto my favorite authors list so I have high hopes for this one.
