5 On My TBR| Love

As I’ve mentioned before, one of my important reading goals of 2023 is shrinking my physical TBR. Sometimes it’s hard to think of what books I still have or subjects I want to read about. So we needed a way to keep track of this. 5 On My TBR is a way of keeping track. This is a meme hosted by E from Local Bee Hunter’s Nook. Every week there’s a different prompt for five on my TBR.

This week’s topic is love. I have to say this topic is right up my alley. Romance is a genre I read a lot of, so I also have quite a few on my TBR. Let’s take a look at five I hope to read really soon!

Take a Hint, Dani Brown – Talia Hibbert

I loved Get a Life, Chloe Brown and this is one I should’ve read awhile ago, haha. Even more so, because Take a Hint, Dani Brown has my favorite trope: fake dating! Dani doesn’t have time for love, but when a heroic rescue after a workplace fire drill gone wrong goes viral her life takes a twist. While the main characters are fake dating we all know some feeling are going to be involved.

Four Aunties and a Wedding – Jesse Q. Sutanto

Dial A for Aunties way a bit much at times, but it was so much fun. That book had me laughing out loud. So of course, I need to read the next book in the series, Four Aunties and a Wedding! Will the mafia interrupt Meddy’s wedding day a day to remember? I can’t wait to find out, haha.

See You Yesterday – Rachel Lynn Solomon

I love the Groundhog Day trope we seem to be getting quite a bit of and I have a feeling this author will pull this one off well. Our main character starts reliving her first day of college over and over to find out Miles has been having the same problem for months. They decide to work together and that makes me wonder how their romance is going to bloom!

Sadie on a Plate – Amanda Elliot

Sadie on a Plate caught my attention because the main character ends up on a reality cooking show. That’s really the only reality TV I end up watching, so I have to read about it as well, haha. Our main characters has an interesting encounter with a guy on the plane there who of course ends up on the set of that show as well. Sounds like my kind of book.

The Road Trip – Beth O’Leary

Our main character is ready for a road trip to her friend’s wedding with her sister when an accident happens. Of course the other car involved just happens to be her ex, who she’s been trying to avoid. They have to complete the trip together, so we all know that could get interesting…

Here are five romances on my TBR that I want to read really soon! Have you read any of these? Or do you have any romances you need to read soon? Let me know in the comments! I’d love to hear from you.
