I heard some great things about the Wayfarers trilogy by Becky Chambers so when I saw the first two books for a good price I decided to get them. A couple of months ago I started The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet but had put down about half way through. Last week I picked it back up and read the rest of the book! As you all know if you’ve been following us for awhile, I am a moderator in the Facebook book group TBR & Beyond. Every month we have group reads and Sanctuary by Caryn Lix is one of the August group reads. I finished Sanctuary and really want to recommend this book to everyone!
Recently I’ve been reading a lot of comics and manga’s and I’ve been enjoying myself a lot. I read them quite quickly but there can still be so much story packed in those thin books. While browsing Storytel, my audiobook subsciption, I found they had Zenith! I was pleasantely surprised as I hadn’t expected they would have new English releases. Turns out they do! Almost all of the 2018 books I read so far have been audiobooks haha. A ton of people have said things about Zenith, mostly because Sasha is a super populair Booktuber. This week we finally were able to celebrate the release of Obsidio! This is a highly anticipated read for both of us, so we decided to continue with that in our theme for Wishlist Wednesday today! Here are some sci-fi books we have on our wishlists!
Both of us were really interested in this book when we heard about it. The UK hardcover was definitely very appealing and when a Facebook group we are in was reading it as the book of the month, we knew we had to read it as well. We were a little late to participate in the group read, but finished it not too long ago.
