If you’ve followed the blog, you know I have read a few books by Freya Barker. Her newest book, Burning for Autumn, was released January 8th. The author was kind enough to provide me with an ARC to read and review.
I’m normally not one to give warnings, but in Burning for Autumn an animal is harmed. You don’t read it in complete detail, but it is a part of the story. Even I thought it was a bit hard to read!

It’s not December anymore, but this book was too good not to share. One Day in December isn’t only about Christmas, so this is still the perfect book if you’re looking for a winter read. In Julia Wolf’s book Pixie Cut, we meet Avi’s cousin Yo. He seemed like a lot of fun, so it was quite a pleasant surprise to see him get the spotlight as one of the main characters in Eight Cozy Nights. In the book world we get a lot of Christmas stories, but not Hannukah stories. After reading this novella, I’d say we need more!
One of the first cover reveals on this blog was for a book in this series! Kendall Ryan has decided to bring all of the books together in her Forbidden Desires series to create the Forbidden Desires Box Set.

In between reading some spooky Halloween books, I read another Christmas book. Twelve Nights of Christmas: A Holiday Anthology is filled with twelve short stories by multiple authors. An anthology can be tricky, because some stories can be better then others.
I loved what this anthology was for though and enjoyed myself while reading the stories. Today you can see what I thought of all twelve stories!

S.M. Shade has become one of my favorite romance authors. She writes romantic comedies, but also suspenseful ones and now we get a rockstar romance, Duplicity. Thanks to the author I got an ARC of this book to read and review! Today is release day and I want to share my thoughts on this book.
