Review| As Seen on TV – Meredith Schorr

All I needed to see when reading the synopsis for As Seen on TV was “fans of the Hallmark Channel and Gilmore Girls will adore this delightful rom-com” and I knew I needed to read this book. The Gilmore Girls is one of my favorite shows and I watch all of the Hallmark Christmas movies. Keep on reading to find out more about this book and what I thought!

WWW Wednesday #19

It’s Wednesday, so time for a new WWW Wednesday to talk about my reading progress and plans. I really love these posts and talking more about what I’m reading before the monthly wrap up. Even if my reading plans change I like thinking about what I’m going to read! It’s been almost a month since I’ve done a WWW Wednesday post, so it’s definitely time for a new one.

So it’s time for my next WWW Wednesday. This is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On a World of Words and you participate by simply answering three questions:

  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What are you currently reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

TTT #254 | Books with Geographical Terms in the Title

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is Books with Geographical Terms in the Title and I decided to go with just books on my TBR this week. I have more than enough books haha, so there should be 10 books with geographical terms in the title. Let’s take a look! Continue reading “TTT #254 | Books with Geographical Terms in the Title”

Netgalley Next #7

One of our reading goals is working on our Netgalley feedback ratio. Eventually we want to get it to 80%. And to help motivate us we decided to do this new post every week. We pick three of our eARCs and based on the first line, paragraph, or page we decide which one we’ll read next. Let’s take a look at today’s picks! I’ll be taking a look at three e-arcs I should’ve read ages ago.

Royal Update #141

We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too! Continue reading “Royal Update #141”

Down the TBR Hole #85

For the first time in I don’t know how long I haven’t added any new books to my Goodreads want-to-read shelf!! I’m very proud of myself, so let’s see if we can remove some more books this week.

Down the TBR Hole was originally created over at Lost in a Story. It looked like a fun and productive way to finally make a dent in that Goodreads TBR. I went through my want-to-read shelf a little while ago but I think I was still to kind on a lot of books. Let’s see what I’ll make of it this time around. I decided to go with 10 books at a time so lets get started!

Review | All of Our Demise – Amanda Foody & Christine Lynn Herman

I adored All of Us Villains and I couldn’t wait to read All of Our Demise. You might understand how excited I was to get the eARC for this one. And of course I had to read it soon. I’m glad I did! So obviously I had to share my thoughts on this sequel. Let’s jump in!
There will be some spoilers from book 1, so proceed with caution if you haven’t read that one yet! Continue reading “Review | All of Our Demise – Amanda Foody & Christine Lynn Herman”

Bookish Beginnings on Friday | A Taste of Gold and Iron – Alexandra Rowland

We have a lot of eARC’s and we want to promote them a little bit more. So we decided to do some more Bookish Beginnings On Friday. A Taste of Gold and Iron has been a book I see a lot on bookstagram lately and I was lucky to get an e-arc. It’s a bigger book and I’m hoping to read it during my vacation later this month, so I wanted to talk about this book.

This meme was created by Rose City Reader. The idea is to post the first sentence or so of the book you’re currently reading. After that you talk about your initial thoughts about the sentence, book or anything to do with that.

Bookish Item | Series I Plan On Finishing This Year

One of my reading goals this year is to finish 12 series. That doesn’t seem likely as I’ve only finished one series I already started reading before 2022 so far. But I’m about to finish a second series and I thought that would be the perfect time so take a look at the series I might reasonably finish this year. Let’s jump in!

Can’t Wait Wednesday | Spice Road – Maiya Ibrahim

We wanted to do another bookish meme on Wednesday and after doing Can’t Wait Wednesday a few times we decided that would be a fun one to bring around more often! About twice a month you’ll see this meme on our blog.

Can’t Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally they’re books that have yet to be released. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine. Continue reading “Can’t Wait Wednesday | Spice Road – Maiya Ibrahim”
