We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!
These past two weeks have been super busy but also a lot of fun. Like I said last time, right before that post aired I was at the Grand Prix at Spa. The first time I saw actual Formula 1 cars drive around and I loved it so much. It was not the last time I attended a GP that’s for sure! The weekend after that I went to France for the weekend. One of my friends got married there and most of my international friends came to celebrate. It was so much fun seeing everyone again and I had a great weekend. Work that Monday was pretty hard but I wouldn’t trade that weekend for anything.
And this last weekend was so much fun as well. My best friend and I went to a festival, and since it was on the other side of the Netherlands we decided to go camping there. We got to bike to the festival, had a lot of fun camping, eat amazing food, saw some great artists and simply had a wonderful weekend!
I have one new eARC, I couldn’t resist getting Spice Road by Maiya Ibrahim haha. The book looks amazing and it sounds like a story I would enjoy a lot.
I listened to the last three Harry Potter books and I flew through The Final Gambit. At the moment I’m still reading The Hero of Ages and A Court of Silver Flames. I’m not reading as much as I did this summer so I’m not thinking about what I’ll be reading next yet.
As a lot of people I have been watching The House of the Dragon and The Rings of Power. So far I have been enjoying both and I can’t wait to see what happens next in these stories!
Monday night I’m going to another concert, this time we’re seeing Sons of the East. So of course I have been listening to their music a lot these past days. Can’t wait to see them live.
And that was my Royal Update for this week! Have you been doing anything fun? Let me know in the comments down below!
Spice Road looks super interesting!

I haven’t been to a concert in forever. I do miss those! I need to read The Hawthorne Legacy this month.
