It’s that time again! The opening round of the Goodreads Choice Awards has been opened and of course I voted. This is not a great contest in setup in my opinion but it’s still fun. And we also thought it would be fun to take a look at some of the categories and see if we’ve read the books. Today I will be taking a look at the fantasy nominees. Let’s jump in!

Can’t Wait Wednesday | The Ruined – Renée Ahdieh
We wanted to do another bookish meme on Wednesday and after doing Can’t Wait Wednesday a few times we decided that would be a fun one to bring around more often! About twice a month you’ll see this meme on our blog.
Can’t Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally they’re books that have yet to be released. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine. Continue reading “Can’t Wait Wednesday | The Ruined – Renée Ahdieh”
TTT #263 | Favorite “Aww” Moments in Books
We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week’s topic is favorite “aww” moments in books. Instead of talking about the exact moments that made me feel this way I’ll just talk about the book. I don’t want to spoil anything for anyone. So here are ten books that gave me “aww” feels.

We pick three of our eARCs and based on the first line, paragraph, or page we decide which one we’ll read next. Let’s take a look at today’s picks for this week’s Netgalley Next! WWW Wednesday #23
It’s Wednesday, so time for a new WWW Wednesday to talk about my reading progress and plans. I really love these posts and talking more about what I’m reading before the monthly wrap up. Even if my reading plans change I like thinking about what I’m going to read!
So it’s time for my next WWW Wednesday. This is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On a World of Words and you participate by simply answering three questions:
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What are you currently reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
