We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week’s topic is books from my past seasonal TBR posts I STILL haven’t read. To be honest I probably could just copy and paste all of my seasonal TBRs, haha. I’ll look back at my fall 2021 and winter 2021 TBRs that I posted. Out of these 20 books I’ve read 5, so I definitely have 10 for this list, haha.
As Good As Dead – Holly Jackson
Okay, so As Good As Dead is actually on both of the TBR posts I took a look at for this week’s TTT post. So I think it means that I really need to read this one ASAP! I loved the first two books in this series, so it’s really time for me to finish it.
The Cost of Knowing – Brittney Morris
After loving Slay I was so excited for The Cost of Knowing. It’s actually been on my TBR quite a few times. And I really have no reason why I haven’t read this one yet. I can’t imagine what it’s like to see the future when you touch someone. That has to be so scary.
Dead Dead Girls – Nekesa Afia
As someone who is a big fan of the 1920s vibes Dead Dead Girls caught my attention right away. Add a mystery and I was sold. The sequel recently released, so I definitely need to bum this up my TBR.
Dead Voices – Katherine Arden
Small Spaces is one of my favorite middle grade books and I can’t tell you why I haven’t read Dead Voices yet. It’s definitely time though, because the fourth book releases later this year. Maybe I’ll read books 2 and 3 back to back on a rainy day.
The Serpent King – Jeff Zentner
Recently I noticed that I have quite a few authors on my shelves that I own multiple books by and haven’t read a single thing. To change this I decided to do author spotlights, but haven’t been very successful. July has been a weird reading month, so Jeff Zentner is on that list again for next month.
Finlay Donovan Is Killing It – Ellie Cosimano
Finlay Donovan Is Killing It was all over bookstagram when it first released and I bought it soon after. The sequel is now out in the world with a third book announced and I still haven’t read it. I’m determined to change this before the end of the year.
Grace and Glory – Jennifer L. Armentrout
Out of all the books on this list I’m the most surprised I haven’t read Grace and Glory. The ending of the second book in this trilogy was definitely shocking, but I think with this book being delayed I ended up getting distracted by other books.
Boyfriend Material – Alexis Hall
Boyfriend Material is another book I’ve seen everywhere and actually even started reading. I think I got about 100 pages in. The sequel, Husband Material, releases in August, so I need to continue.
Flash Fire – TJ Klune
Not all hope is lost, because I’m actually currently reading Flash Fire. I’m loving being back with these characters and can’t wait to see how everything plays out.
In Deeper Waters – F.T. Lukens
So This Is Ever After is this author’s second book and I’m about 35% in. The humor is amazing and the story is fun and that makes me want to pick up In Deeper Waters even more. I really need more time to read.

So
Dead Voices was excellent! I reviewed the first three books of that series on my blog earlier this year and hope to review the fourth next month after it comes out.
And, yeah, Dead Voices would be the perfect rainy (or snowy, or stormy) day read. 🙂

I’ve seen Boyfriend Material around a lot–the cover alone makes me want to add it to my TBR! I hope you enjoy these when you get around to reading them.

I have Dead Dead Girls on my TBR as well. The premise is so intriguing. I didn’t realize there was a sequel out already.

I still haven’t read As Good As Dead either! I read the first two but by the time AGAD came out I’d forgotten the plots.
