Review | All of Our Demise – Amanda Foody & Christine Lynn Herman

I adored All of Us Villains and I couldn’t wait to read All of Our Demise. You might understand how excited I was to get the eARC for this one. And of course I had to read it soon. I’m glad I did! So obviously I had to share my thoughts on this sequel. Let’s jump in!
There will be some spoilers from book 1, so proceed with caution if you haven’t read that one yet! Continue reading “Review | All of Our Demise – Amanda Foody & Christine Lynn Herman”

Review | All Of Us Villains – Amanda Foody & Christine Lynn Herman

One of my most anticipated releases of the year was All Of Us Villains, so of course I was extremely excited to get an eARC. And for once I read the book before the release date haha. It doesn’t happen often but it did this time! And today I want to share my thoughts about the story. So let’s jump right in.

Bookish Item | Bookish Beginnings: All of Us Villains – Amanda Foody & Christine Lynn Herman

It’s time for another Bookish Beginnings. The last one was in February, so it’s been a while, haha. This meme was created by Rose City Reader. The idea is to post the first sentence or so of the book you’re currently reading. After that you talk about your initial thoughts about the sentence, book or anything to do with that. We both got an eARC of All of Us Villains last week and wanted to start reading it right away! Today we’ll share our first thoughts, let’s get into it! Review| The Burning Shadow – Jennifer L. Armentrout

If you’ve been following the blog you’ll know I’m a big fan of Jennifer L. Armentrout. There are only a few of her books I haven’t read yet and plan to do so eventually. The Darkest Star is a book I was lucky to get as eARC, but if I’m honest I loved my re-read the second time around even more.

After that re-read, I finally had the chance to read the second book in the Origin series, The Burning Shadow. So I finally want to tell you what I thought of this book. I’ll do my best to keep out spoilers, so it may be a shorter or a bit of a vague review! Keep on reading to find out more!

Can’t Wait Wednesday | Witchshadow – Susan Dennard

We wanted to do another bookish meme on Wednesday and after doing Can’t Wait Wednesday a few times we decided that would be a fun one to bring around more often! About twice a month you’ll see this meme on our blog.

Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally they’re books that have yet to be released. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by Jill at Breakingthe Spine. Continue reading “Can’t Wait Wednesday | Witchshadow – Susan Dennard”

Book Tour| Chasing Starlight – Teri Bailey Black

Last week Isabelle posted her review for the Chasing Starlight book tour and today it’s my turn. I really enjoyed Teri Bailey Black’s book A Girl at the Grave, so was excited when she announced this one! Chasing Starlight takes place in Hollywood and it interesting to dive into the world of glitz and glamour. There’s definitely more to this story though. Keep on reading!

A big thanks to TBR and Beyond Tours for hosting this tour and the publisher for providing an e-arc!

Review| Meet Me at Midnight – Jessica Pennington

When I first heard about Meet Me at Midnight I knew I needed this book! I don’t think I need to tell you how excitedI was when my request for an ARC was approved on Netgalley! After loving Love Songs & Other Lies, Jessica Pennington became an autobuy/read author.

Meet Me at Midnight releases on April 7th and I decided to post my review a bit early to get the word out there. I’m excited for other people to read this book. A big thanks to the author, Netgalley and Tor Teen for providing me with an ARC to read and review!

Review| Roar – Cora Carmack

Roar was released in June ’17 and I read it pretty shortly after that. I can remember, because there are little teeth marks in my cover (I had two tiny kittens running around back then, haha). All of the fans have been waiting for a sequel and after the author had some health issues, we’re finally getting the next one.

With Rage releasing soon, this was a perfect time to re-read Roar. It’s been so long, I needed a refresher! Let’s see what I thought the second time around.
