Both of us are trying to make a dent in the amount of unread backlist books on our shelves. A fun way to do this is planning a lot of buddy reads and that’s what we decided to do with Letters to the Lost. This is a book both of us have had for quite some time and we heard it was pretty emotional. We finally read this book and want to talk about our thoughts. Keep on reading to find out more!
If you’ve been following the blog you’ll know I’m a big fan of Jennifer L. Armentrout. There are only a few of her books I haven’t read yet and plan to do so eventually. The Darkest Star is a book I was lucky to get as eARC, but if I’m honest I loved my re-read the second time around even more.
After that re-read, I finally had the chance to read the second book in the Origin series, The Burning Shadow. So I finally want to tell you what I thought of this book. I’ll do my best to keep out spoilers, so it may be a shorter or a bit of a vague review! Keep on reading to find out more!
We all have books we’re really looking forward to and I had quite a few. One of these books was Spoiler Alert. I’ve been wanting to read it since the book released in October and finally had the chance to read it last month. Keep on reading to find out what I thought!
A couple of months ago, I read Well Met and it was a fast and fun read. Even though I did want a bit more romance. The sequel, Well Played, released at the end of September and it was the October swoonalong read! Today I’m going to talk about what I thought of this book!
It’s been quite some time since I read One of Us is Lying, but I remember really enjoying that book (even though I was a bit disappointed with how it all ended). Earlier this year the sequel, One of Us is Next, released and I finally sat down to read it. Keep on reading to find out what I thought about this book!
You all know Candyce is a big contemporary and romance reader, but Isabelle is getting more and more into the genre as well. Last month TBR and Beyond did a buddy read for You Had Me At Hola by Alexis Daria, and we both participated. It’s so much fun reading and discussing a book with fellow booklovers and today we want to tell you about the book! So let’s jump in. I’m a big fan of Victoria Schwab’s writing and loved the first book in the Cassidy Blake series, City of Ghosts. The sequel, Tunnel of Bones, has been out for over a year now, but I finally sat down and read it. Today I want to tell you what I thought of this book. Keep on reading to find out!
Well Met is a book that we’ve both had our eye on since it released. If you look at the cover and know it takes place a Renaissance Faire, it should be clear why we needed to read this book. Add a group discussion to the mix and it was decided we’d both read this book in August. Today we want to tell you about this book. Did it live up to our expectations? Keep on reading to find out!
We’ve seen The Diviners around in the bookish community and have been wanting to read it forever. It was time to choose a new buddyread, so we decided to give this series a go! What did we think? Did it live up to our expectations? Keep on reading to find out!
Danielle L. Jensen is an author I’ve been curious about for awhile. A friend of mine is a huge fan and kept bugging me and another friend to try one of her books. We decided to finally give it a go and started with The Bridge Kingdom! If you want to know what I thought, keep on reading for my review.
