Review| Red Card – Maren Moore

It feels like I haven’t read a sports romance in ages, so Red Card really caught my eye when I heard about it. I was so grateful to have an early copy! Today I want to tell you about this book and what I thought. Keep on reading to find out more.

A big thank you to Netgalley and Forever for providing me with an eARC to read and review. This doesn’t affect my opinion in any way.

Review| Roll for Romance – Lenora Woods

Even though it’s been a while since I played myself, I love reading stories that incorporate Dungeons and Dragons in one way or another. So when I saw Roll for Romance, I knew I needed to read it. Today I want to tell you about this book and what I thought.

A big thank you to Netgalley and Dell for providing me with an eARC to read and review. This doesn’t affect my opinion in any way.

WWW Wednesday #92

It’s Wednesday, so time for a new WWW Wednesday to talk about my reading progress and plans. I really love these posts and talking more about what I’m reading before the monthly wrap up. Even if my reading plans change I like thinking about what I’m going to read!

So it’s time for my next WWW Wednesday. This is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On a World of Words and you participate by simply answering three questions:

  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What are you currently reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

TTT #398 | Books with a High Page Count

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is Books Guaranteed to Put an End to Your Book Slump, but I’m really not feeling this one to be honest. I don’t even remember which books got me out of reading slumps, so I’m taking a head start on next week’s topic; Books with a High Page Count. That is a topic I can do for sure! I decided to go with books on my TBR, so let’s jump in! Continue reading “TTT #398 | Books with a High Page Count”

We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too! Continue reading “Royal Update #286”

Down the TBR Hole #154

Since my last Royal Update, I actually read a physical book on my shelf that was on my want to read shelf on Goodreads, so we’re starting this post off in a good way!

Down the TBR Hole was originally created over at Lost in a Story. This meme is now being hosted by Jody from I’m Into Books. It looked like a fun and productive way to finally make a dent in that Goodreads TBR. I went through my want-to-read shelf a little while ago but I think I was still to kind on a lot of books. Let’s see what I’ll make of it this time around. I decided to go with 10 books at a time so lets get started!

Review | Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil – V.E. Schwab

When one of your favorite authors releases a new book you obviously want to read it, no matter what’s it about! Luckily this newest V.E. Schwab book, Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil is about toxic, lesbian vampires so I would be interested either way haha. Today I wanted to share my thoughts on this one, so let’s dive in!

Bookish Item| Goodreads Readers’ 88 Favorite Romantasy Books of the Past Three Years

With summer slowly coming to an end, we’ll be heading into cozy season. My favorite time of the year. Even though I’ll read any genre during every season, I do feel we’re heading into the perfect fantasy (romance) book season. What’s better than a rainy day, cup of tea, and a fantasy (romance) book?

Goodreads published a list of readers’ 88 favorite romantasy books of the past three years. Out of these 88, I’ve already read 25 of these books. I want to read more of these, so let’s talk about the five I’m hoping to read soon.

Bookish Item | Books I’m Bringing to France 2025

It’s time for a post I have made multiple times before! I’m about to go on another trip to France for the coming 2 weeks and of course I am packing some books. Yes, I am bringing my Kindle so I’ll have a ton of books with me, but I also like to take some physical books with me. And today I wanted to share which ones those will be with you all, so let’s jump in! Continue reading “Bookish Item | Books I’m Bringing to France 2025”
