Bookhaul | June 2025

The first half of the year is over and it’s time to talk about last month! Today we have our monthly bookhaul. Did we add any books to our shelves in June? Or were we good? Haha. Keep on reading for our June 2025 bookhaul!

Candyce

In June I added 9 books to my shelves. One book you saw last month, but when I got my Fairyloot books this month, I realized that The Knight and the Moth was one of those books. So I sent back the copy I hauled last month. I’ve also already read four of these books, so I’m happy with my haul. Let’s take a look!

Till Summer Do Us Part – Meghan Quinn

Meghan Quinn is one of my favorite authors and an auto-buy author, so Till Summer Do Us Part is a book I pre-ordered as soon as I could! This first print with sprayed edges is stunning.

The Floating World – Axie Oh

The Floating World was May’s YA Fairyloot book and I love this edition. It definitely looks a lot different than the US cover I kept on seeing. This romantic fantasy does sound really good.

The Knight and the Moth – Rachel Gillig

So I wasn’t completely expecting to get this as the June Adult Fairyloot book, so I pre-ordered the paperback that I added to my shelves last month. Since then I’ve returned that one, because this beautiful edition is staying on my shelves.

Broken Souls and Bones – L.J. Andrews

Of course, I also have to talk about the May Romanasty book I got from my Fairyloot subscription. Broken Souls and Bones is a book I’ve heard amazing things about and this edition is stunning. I hope I end up loving this one!

Heathen & Honeysuckle – Sarah A. Bailey

Heathen & Honeysuckle was originally an indie book, but it was picked up traditionally. I loved these sprayed edges, and a few friends of mine loved this story. So I had to add this first edition printing to my bookshelves.

Woven by Gold – Elizabeth Helen

After reading and loving Bonded by Thorns, I knew I needed to continue the series. So I decided to get the paperback of the second book. You’ll find out what I thought about this one tomorrow, but I will say it didn’t feel like it was a 560 page book.

Forged by Malice – Elizabeth Helen

Like I already said, Woven by Gold was such an addicting read. So of course I ordered Forged by Malice right after finishing that book. This one is even bigger at close to 700 pages. They just keep getting bigger!

Cash – Jessica Peterson

So I read Cash when it was a self published book and loved this cowboy romance. Bloom Books is now publishing them, so I had to get this first edition print. Not only is it stunning, but I wanted the bonus chapter.

Tusk Love – Thea Guanzon

My boyfriend has watched Critical Role and I’ve heard about some of the story when he tells me things about it. So when I saw Tusk Love, I wanted to order it. The cover is colorful and pretty. This isn’t normally my kind of romance, but I have a feeling I’m going to have a great time.

Isabelle

In June I once again didn’t get any new physical books. It was close though, I almost got two books at the airport last week haha. I did spend an Audible credit on an audiobook, so I will share that one with you all!

Audible

Bury Our Bones In the Midnight Soil – V.E. Schwab

V.E. Schwab is one of my favorite authors, so of course this was a book I wanted to get my hands on as soon as it was released! This is talked about as the toxic lesbian vampires book and that’s all I wanted to know haha. I started listening to it this weekend and I’m really enjoying it so far!

So that’s our June bookhaul! Have you read any of these? Or did you get any new books you’re really excited about? Let us know in the comments. We’d love to hear from you.
