WWW Wednesday #90

It’s Wednesday, so time for a new WWW Wednesday to talk about my reading progress and plans. I really love these posts and talking more about what I’m reading before the monthly wrap up. Even if my reading plans change I like thinking about what I’m going to read!

So it’s time for my next WWW Wednesday. This is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On a World of Words and you participate by simply answering three questions:

  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What are you currently reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

What did you recently finish reading?

Comeback – Rebecca Jenshak

Sometimes you just need a good sports romance and Comeback was one I needed. This is a brother’s best friend romance and checked off all of the boxes I love in a book like this. All of the characters were amazing and yeah, we had some drama, but our character talked to each other! I wish more romances did this.

Forged by Malice – Elizabeth Helen

The Beasts of Briar has taken over my life at the moment! I’m so invested in Rosie and her princes. So much so that a 672 page book didn’t even feel long enough. There are politics, romance, magic, and a very interesting world. I love that we’re learning more about the princes. The fourth book is going to be read soon.

What are you currently reading?

Not Quite Dead Yet – Holly Jackson

Last night I started my eARC of Not Quite Dead Yet. I’m about 25% into this book now and I’m loving it. After reading and loving the A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder trilogy, I was excited to see what Holly Jackson would do with an adult thriller. So far, it’s meeting my expectations and then some.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I’ve been trying to follow my mood, so I’m not really sure what I plan on picking up.

Problematic Summer Romance – Ali Hazelwood

The weather is hot right now, so a summer romance would be a good thing to read right now. Ali Hazelwood has written a few of my favorite books, so it’s time to catch up by reading her latest release. Maya and Conor’s relationship interested me in Not in Love, so I’m curious about their story.

So that’s my WWW Wednesday for this week! What have you been reading lately? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear from you.

  1. Love hearing about the Holly Jackson book. I really enjoyed A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, but I think the series got worse as it progressed, and it totally lost me in the second half of the final book. It would be good to read some of her other books
