We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week’s topic is books that I want to read again. I’ve been really enjoying re-reading books this year and I have quite a few that will fit this list. Let’s take a look!

Red, White and Royal Blue – Casey McQuiston
I only did a re-read of this one earlier this year, but I really love this book. Red, White & Royal Blue is a book I think I’ll be revisiting often. Maybe a once of year read type of thing? Maybe I’ll grab this one right before Casey McQuiston’s new book releases next year.

The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer – Michelle Hodkin
I read this whole trilogy quite some time ago and remember loving it! The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer definitely has some creepy vibes and I loved how this story developed. Also, I still have the first two books in the spinoff trilogy that I need to read! I want to make sure I’m completely back in this world before starting that.

Obsidian – Jennifer L. Armentrout
It’s been over 5 years since I read the whole LUX series and I’m really surprised about that. This is a series I’ve been saying I want to read again for the longest time, but still haven’t gotten around to. That really needs to change.

Illuminae – Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff
This trilogy is so unique in how it tells a story and these two authors are just amazing! I read each book as they released, so I think it’s time to read them back to back. If you’re a science fiction fan or want to give this genre a go, I definitely recommend this trilogy.

After – Anna Todd
I know this is a series people either love or hate, because there’s a lot of drama, haha. When I bought these books I couldn’t put them down. Yes, the drama got to be too much at times, but they’re addicting. I’m really curious to see if I feel the same way the second time around.

My Plain Jane – Cynthia Hand, Brodi Ashton & Jodi Meadows
The Lady Janies is such a fun trilogy and I love how the authors twist history and take us on a wild ride. I did a re-read of My Lady Jane earlier this year, so I need to get to the sequel as well!

The Trials of Morrigan Crow – Jessica Townsend
The Nevermoor series is one I can’t recommend enough! This middle grade series is majestic and I love all of the characters. The first two books definitely have spots on my favorites list and the third one is something I want and need to read soon. But I know I want to start these all over again.

The Red Scrolls of Magic – Cassandra Clare
Shadowhunters is a series I love and so far I’ve loved all of the spinoffs including The Red Scrolls of Magic. That being said, I read this one when I just started listening to audiobooks and I probably missed quite a few details. So I think a re-read is in order before starting the sequel.

A Curse So Dark and Lonely – Brigid Kemmerer
In all honesty, I can’t believe I haven’t read the second book in this trilogy yet seeing how the final book is releasing in a couple of months! I loved A Curse So Dark and Lonely and it quickly became one of my favorite retellings. Again, I want to dive in again before continuing with this trilogy.

Captive Prince – C.S. Pacat
I’m almost ashamed to admit that I read Captive Prince over 3 years ago and still haven’t continued with this trilogy. I know it’s one that has gotten quite a bit of attention and I hear it gets even better with the second and third book. It’s been way too long to start with the sequel before revisiting this one!
Believe me when I say these aren’t the only books I hope to read again in the near future. I think next year I want to focus a little more on re-reading then I did this year. What books do you want to read again? Let me know in the comments and feel free to leave your link down below!

Oh I loved Red White and Royal Blue! And the Nevermore series looms grear! And my daughter is probably getting close to being old enough for them…. but having said that I read enough YA and MY books I’ll probably not wait!
If you want to check it out, this is my TTT.
Great list! I just read Nevermoor and I already want to re-read it, and I’d like to give A Curse So Dark and Lonely and Captive Prince a try.
I want to read a Curse So Dark and Lonely again. I loved that book!
The Nevermoor series does sound fun.

I wasn’t a massive fan of A Curse So Dark and Lonely, but I’m glad to see that you enjoyed it! I hope you also enjoy the sequel.

I almost put Red, White, and Royal Blue on my list!!! I have several of these on my TBR.
I feel like I’m the only person in the world who hasn’t read Red, White & Royal Blue yet! It’s got to the point now where I’m scared to pick it up in case it doesn’t live up to the hype??

I would be so curious to hear what your thoughts on After would be a second time around. I’ll agree they were addictive and I read every one. I also hated all but that last one where Tessa FINALLY stopped taking the abuse.
There are so many great books on here. I agree, Nevermoor is so good. I just finished the third book and enjoyed it! I really wish I would re-read more but never seem to.
My Top Ten
Mara Dyer looks good, and ooh Illluminae. that’d be a fun reread!
I just read Illuminae myself, that was one great audiobook production I must say! 😀 Hope you manage to reread it. https://readwithstefani.com/books-i-want-to-read-again/
The Trials of Morrigan Crow has been on my TBR pile for ages. It sounds like such a great series … I really need to get around to that!
