TTT #151| 2020 Fall TBR

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is 2020 Fall TBR. I’ve noticed I have a hard time sticking to them and I don’t dare look at the previous ones I made this year, haha. That being said, I still think it’s fun to talk about the books I really hope/want to read this Fall. Let’s take a look!

The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue – V.E. Schwab I have to say that this book is one of my most anticipated releases of 2020! I was also really lucky to get my hands on an e-arc on Netgalley. As I’m typing this, Isabelle and I are doing a buddyread and I’m enjoying every minute of it. V.E. Schwab really has a way with words!

A Deadly Education – Naomi Novik This is an author I’m not familiar with yet, but hear a lot about. Deadly Education takes place at one of my favorite bookish settings, a school. This isn’t just any school though and I’m excited to read this one.

Cemetery Boys – Aiden Thomas I’ve heard nothing but amazing things about Cemetery Boys! I’m still waiting for my copy though. I ordered the Illumicrate debut box for this one. This first line in the synopsis caught my attention right away: “Yadriel has summoned a ghost, and now he can’t get rid of him.” Perfect type of book for the Fall!

Among the Beasts & Briars – Ashley Poston If I’m honest, this was initially a cover that caught my eye and I knew I needed this book. I was lucky to get an e-arc and I can’t wait to dive in next month. Royalty, curses and darkness. Perfect combination for a dark and rainy day.

The Once and Future Witches – Alix E. Harrow Witches in books are something I love and when I hear a book has witches, I need it. A world with no witches going back to a world of witches (at least that’s what I’m getting from the synopsis)? Yes, please!

Spoiler Alert – Olivia Dade I love seeing more plus sized characters in romance books and I love this cover! Illustrated covers are making me a very happy reader! Also, this book is set in the world of fanfiction, so that makes me even happier. I’ll be reading this in October.

The Year of the Witching – Alexis Henderson This book just screams Fall read to me. A few friends have read it already and really enjoyed it! It has witches, so I’m definitely expecting to really enjoy it. I have a feeling it’s going to be a darker read too.

American Royals & Majesty – Katharine McGee American Royals has been on my shelf for way too long without being read. I also have the e-arc of Majesty (that has now released), so needless to say I need to read them. I love books with drama and intrigue and I think I’ll get both with these two books.

Undercover Bromance – Lyssa Kay Adams The Bromance Book Club is still one of my favorite romances and I’ve had Undercover Bromance since it released. I think part of me has been afraid it’s not going to meet my expectations after such an amazing first book. With the third book releasing soon, I really want to catch up!

So these are ten of the books on my Fall TBR. There are a lot of others I want to read, but these are my most anticipated reads! What books are on your Fall TBR? Let me know in the comments and feel free to leave your TTT link as well!

  1. Great list! Cemetery Boys is on my TBR, too, and I really want to read The Once and Future Witches and Spoiler Alert. I’m reading The Year of the Witching now and loving it!
