We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week’s topic is bookish events you’d like to visit. I decided to go the route of events in books I would love to visit. Some of these are going to be pretty predictable haha. Sorry in advance but I can’t help myself haha. Let’s dive in!
1.The Quidditch World Cup
Wizarding World
You all know by know I adore the Wizarding World (even though I really despise Rowling’s views on transpeople). And one of my favorite moments in the books is the Quidditch World Cup. This is also partly the reason I adore the fourth book so much haha. I like sporting events in general and think it would be so so so cool to visit this event.
2.The Element Games
Shades of Magic
My favorite things in books are competitions. And magical competitions are the absolute best. I really liked the tournament in the second book in the Shades of Magic series. It would be so cool to see this in real life, or at least in a tv show ;).
3.An Exy Game
All For the Game
With my current obsession for the All For the Game series is it even a surprise to see this one on the list? Like I said, I love to watch sports and I think a game of Exy could be very cool to watch. And if I can watch my favorite Exy team that would be even better 😉
4.A Warcross Game
Warcross
This might get a bit repetitious but while reading Warcross all I could think was I wish this was real. I wanted to keep on reading about the game more than I wanted to read about the rest of the story haha. It would be great to watch an actual Warcross game and it seems like it could be potentially real in a couple of years.
5.Starfall
A Court of Thorns and Roses
How could I not include this one? I would not be surprised if it was featured on a ton of lists today. Starfall sounds like a magical holiday and I would love to experience it. That also means I would get to visit the Night Court and I don’t think anyone would say no to that haha.
6.Magical Market
Nevermoor
I don’t remember the name of this market! But I remember Morrigan going to a magical market in Wundersmith and it sounded like a wonderful place. Also a place where you can lost easily, and I probably would get lost. But a place I would love to visit nevertheless haha.
7.Yuleball
Wizarding World
Yes, back at it with a Wizarding World event haha. I don’t believe anyone who says they wouldn’t want to go to the Yuleball. Any Christmas party at Hogwarts sounds amazing but the Yuleball is the best one of all. Hogwarts is such a magical place and to be there with students from all over Europe sounds like a dream come true.
8.Caraval
Caraval
This might be featured on a lot of lists today as well! While I didn’t love Caraval (I have yet to read the rest of the series) I did really like the setting. I’d probably watch the game rather than participate (I am not a risk taker at all haha) but I would just love to be there.
I wasn’t able to make it to 10 today but I chose some events in books I love a lot. If only these were real ;). What it your favorite event in a book? And would you like to accompany me to one of my picks? Come talk to me in the comments!

Great list! The Quidditch World Cup would be so much with so many witches and wizards in one place. 😀
Exactly! I can already imagine it <3 Camping with wizards and witches and watching sports, where can I sign up?
Oh that market in Neverwhere! Wasn’t it the Floating Market? Golly I need to re-read that one!
I kept my TTT in the real world this week, but might steal your twist for a freebie!
That could be it! I just remember loving it, can’t wait for the next book in the series <3
And yes, definitely steal this twist!
All great places to visit, even if I wouldn’t know what to do with myself. Sensory overload for sure 🙂
Here’s my Top Ten Tuesday post.
Oh yes, I would be so anxious for sure! Especially with Caraval haha
Caraval would be so much fun!
