Mysteries are always interesting to read, but even more so when it’s dark, rainy and cold outside. October is the perfect month for those ingredients and we were both excited about I Hope You’re Listening by Tom Ryan. Today is our spot on the book tour hosted by TBR and Beyond Tours. Keep on reading for our review, favorite quotes and information about the giveaway running for US readers!
It’s been quite some time since I read One of Us is Lying, but I remember really enjoying that book (even though I was a bit disappointed with how it all ended). Earlier this year the sequel, One of Us is Next, released and I finally sat down to read it. Keep on reading to find out what I thought about this book!
Jennifer Lynn Barnes is an author I’ve really come to love (even if I do have a few books to catch up on…). The Inheritance Games is her newest book and I’ve been excited about it since the author announced it. Today is my spot on the blog tour hosted by The Write Reads. Keep on reading to find out what I thought about this book!
A big thanks to Penguin for providing me with an e-arc on Netgalley to read and review!
I’ve said it before, but this year I really want to starting reading more books out of my comfort zone. Or really just books outside of the usual fantasy and contemporary books that I normally read. There’s nothing wrong with those, but I’ve noticed I really enjoy other genres as well. So I decided to give A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder a go and I wasn’t disappointed! Keep on reading for my full review.
Not too long ago I reviewed the book Deadly First Day and instantly became a fan! The sequel, Lethal Queen Bee, recently released. The author was really sweet and sent me an e-arc to read and review! A big thanks to her for that! Today I want to tell you what I thought of the next book in the Embassy Academy series.
At the moment both Candyce and I are participating in the O.W.L.’s readathon and one of the prompts was to read a book with a white cover. After coming across the audiobook of Sadie on Scribd I decided to finally pick that one up. And today I’ll share my thoughts with you all!

Books that take place at school or at boarding schools are something I love to read. If you add a little mystery and romance, I’ll definitely give it a chance. Deadly First Day, the first book in the Embassy Academy series, checks off all of those boxes. With the sequel releasing later this month, I thought it was the perfect time to review Deadly First Day!
After finally reading and loving This Is Our Story I was in the mood to read another mystery with a hunting component in it. And I just happened to own S.T.A.G.S. With a tagline like this; Nine students. Three bloodsports. One deadly weekend. I knew it would be exactly what I wanted to read. Did I love it as much as This Is Our Story? Or was is a bit of a disappointment? Keep on reading and find out!

October is the perfect month to read thrillers, so I decided I wanted to share a thriller review with you all today. Recently I listened to the audiobook off The Turn of the Key by Ruth Ware. I listened to it in two days and only stopped in between because I had to be social for a couple of hours haha. Because it’s a thriller, I would recommend not reading the synopsis as they usually reveal a little bit too much in my opinion. Let’s get into it! A fun part of blgging is having authors contact you if you want to read and review their books. Recently I had an author contact me if I wanted to read her debut book Through Her Eyes. After reading the blurb I was very intrigued. Through Her Eyes is Sophie Fahy’s debut book and releases today! Let’s take a look at what I thought of this YA mystery filled with suspense!
WARNING Through Her Eyes is an intense book that does have some trigger warnings I feel I should tell you about: sexual assault, assault and parental abuse.
