We’re nearing the end of the month, so time for a new TBR. Like I say every single month, I rarely follow these TBRs. I’m very much a mood reader at the moment. That being said, they’re still a lot of fun to make. And at the moment, I do want to read every single one of these books. So let’s take a look at my July TBR!
Group Reads

Cytonic – Brandon Sanderson
Skyward is my current series slayers read and we’ll be reading Cytonic in July. I can’t tell you what it’s about as it’s the third book in a series and I still need to pick up book two as I’m working on this post. I’ll also be reading Skyward Flight this month. This has some novellas that belong in this world.

Every Summer After – Carley Fortune
So I actually read Every Summer After in 2022, but with the series adaptation we decided to choose this one for our swoonalong this month. I think I’ll be doing a reread before starting the show!
eARCs

Everything Was Beautiful and Nothing Hurt – Ben Reeves
This book caught my eye because our main character is death in the modern day world. If I’ve read the synopsis correctly, I have a feeling he’s going to fall in love with a woman who isn’t meant to survive. Everything Was Beautiful and Nothing Hurt is going to hit me in all the feels.

Unfinished Business – Clare Osongco
The concept of Unfinished Business sounded fun and heart-warming, so I wanted to give it a go. Our main character finds out that her mother’s ghost is trapped inside her company’s Slack server. The only way to get her out is to figure out her own love life that isn’t going great. I think this is going to be funny but also a tad emotional.

The MASH Up – Laura Marie Meyers
As a teenager, I loved playing the M.A.S.H. game. It was a fun thing to do with friends. I can’t imagine waking up in one of those that I made. Our main character does and it may end up going totally different than she planned.
Physical/Backlist Books

Lady of Darkness – Melissa K. Roehrich
I’ve been missing the feeling I got when reading Throne of Glass and people keep suggesting this series for fans who loved Throne of Glass. I have the first three books on my shelves and I’m excited. It would be great if I found a new favorite fantasy series.

Romantic Comedy – Curtis Sittenfeld
Romantic Comedy caught my eye because it seems to be told through emails. Or a lot of them anyways. For some reason this seems like a great summer read.

This Summer Will Be Different – Carley Fortune
This Summer Will Be Different is one of the two books by Carley Fortune that I haven’t read yet. Best friend’s brother is a fun trope, so I’m excited to finally curl up with this book. The summer does seem like the perfect time for this book.
So here’s my July TBR! We’ll just have to see how many of them I actually get to. What do you hope to read in July? Just let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear from you!
