The end of June is around the corner, so it’s time to see what July has in store for us! So far 2026 has been packed with so many new releases that sound amazing. Today we want to talk about our most anticipated July releases. Let’s take a look!

The Lure of Wolves and Whispers – Amanda Connolly (July 7th)
This romantasy debut has a deadly competition to become the new queen. If you know anything about me, you know I love a good competition, especially a magical one. This book is also marketed as for fans of Throne of Glass, so I have to try it!

Heartstopper: Volume Six – Alice Oseman (July 7th)
The final instalment in the Heartstopper series! I love this graphic novel series and I have really enjoyed reading it over the last 8 years. It feels pretty unreal that we are getting the final book in the series, and I’m really curious to see how it will all end.

Into the Fading Twilight – Catherine Cowles (July 7th)
Across the Vanishing Sky was such an amazing start of a new series and led up to Into the Fading Twilight so well. I’ve been thinking about these characters since then and I can’t wait to read their story. Kol seems like a very protective person and Nova has been through so much. This is going to hit in all the feels…

The MASH Up – Laura Marie Meyers (July 7th)
I loved the M.A.S.H. game as a teenager and I can’t imagine waking up in one of them. Things seem like they’re not going to go like our main character expects. How will she get herself back to her actual life?!?

Everything Was Beautiful and Nothing Hurt – Ben Reeves (July 7th)
This book sounds like it will destroy me! It’s about Death personified as he gets to meet and become friends with his neighbours. Through them he learns what life is truly about. It sounds like this book will be about grief and I think we’re going to cry a lot with this one.

Habits of Sea – Shea Ernshaw (July 7th)
A magical realism story about a romantic journey through time, memory and the invisible tides that pull us home. It sounds like this is mostly a romance story and I’m really curious to see how this is going to play out. I’m not convinced about the romance from the synopsis, but it might be really good in the actual book!

Ruinous Ends – I.V. Maire (July 14th)
Immortal Consequences was such an interesting read. The fact that all of our main characters were already dead was something I haven’t read before. I needed the sequel after that ending and thankfully I don’t have to wait much longer! There were some secrets and betrayals no one was expecting and I really don’t know how this is going to play out.

In Stormy Weather – Chelsea Curto (July 14th)
Chelsea Curto became a favorite author of mine after just one book (Face Off). In Stormy Weather sounds like the perfect summer read. We’re getting a rival to lovers stories and both of our main characters are storm chasers. Hurricane season is going to get pretty intense.

The Romance Revival – Christina Lauren (July 14th)
Our couple’s marriage is in trouble, but an accident makes our MMC not remember our FMC at all! Is this the chance to start their relationship all over again? I really hope this hits in all the feels.

Extracurricular – Rachel Lynn Solomon (July 14th)
A former pop star who enrolls in college and her psychology professor. I’ll have to admit, I’m not sure about this ‘forbidden romance’. It sounds like the story will deal with more than just a romance, but I’m not sure if it will be enough for me personally. Can’t wait to hear everyone’s thoughts about this one!

Yes, Chef – Grace Reilly (July 21st)
A romance with enemies to lovers and forced proximity. We get a chef and a social media influencer and you just know the sparks will be flying! It sounds like a fun and cute rom come and I’m excited to dive in.

If Books Could Kill – Kate Eberle (July 21st)
Our MC finds herself in her favorite writer’s newest novel. But instead of a romance story, it’s a crime thriller! I love this premise, it sounds like so much fun and I hope the execution is as good as I expect it to be.

Vera Stein is Fine – Julie Murphy (July 21st)
Our main character is forty year old Vera who thinks her life has passed her by. This may change when she moves into her grandmother’s retirement facility. I think she’s going to realize life can be a lot more exciting than she realizes.

Evie and Her Nightmares – Francesca Zappia (July 28th)
This is a companion novel to Eliza and Her Monsters, a book that I loved with all of my heart. It was so good and so heartbreaking. I just know this one will be just as good. It will be about mental health and about grief as Evie just lost her best friend and finds an escape in online gaming.

Just for the Plot – Meghan Quinn (July 28th)
Meghan Quinn is an auto-buy/read author for me and just this cover alone is enough to make me want to read Just for the Plot. This is a sister’s best friend spicy sports romance. I know this author knows how to write a spicy romance, so I’m excited!

Daybreak – Autumn Woods (July 28th)
Nightshade was everywhere last year and it was a book that lived up to its hype for me. The ending left us on a major cliffhanger, so Daybreak is one I’ve been anxiously awaiting! I really wonder what secrets and betrayal we’ll get this time.
So here are some of the books that we think sound really good that are releasing in July! Are any of these on your radar? Or did we miss any you think we need to know about? Let us know in the comments. We’d love to hear from you!
