We’re already nearing the end of February! This month is going by so quickly. Seeing how the month is almost over, it’s time to talk about the books I want to read in March. I have the first two weeks of the month off, so hopefully lots of reading time. Let’s take a look at my TBR!
Group Reads

Mother of Death and Dawn – Carissa Broadbent
Our discussion of Children of Fallen Gods isn’t until about halfway through the month, so I’m not sure if I’ll start and finish Mother of Death and Dawn in March, but I will try. It’ll be exciting to complete another series. I won’t tell you about Mother of Death and Dawn, because it’s the final book in a trilogy. We don’t want any spoilers.

Heated Rivalry – Rachel Reid
I’m sure you’ve seen this series everywhere. So I decided it would be fun to read this with my swoonalong group. I thought it would be a good idea to read Game Changer ahead of time. I’m someone who loves reading interconnected series in order. I couldn’t stop and I’ll be reading this fifth book this weekend, haha. I’ll be doing a reread of Heated Rivalry before my discussion in March.
eARCs

No Matter What – Cara Bastone
Cara Bastone is an author I’ve come to love after reading Ready or Not and Promise Me Sunshine. No Matter What is her 2026 release and I’m excited. I haven’t read many marriage in trouble stories and I have a feeling this is going to hit me in all the feels.

A Widow’s Charm – Caitlyn Paxson
The synopsis of A Widow’s Charm is what caught my eye. Our main character blackmails her necromancer neighbor to bring her husband back to life while falling in love with him. It wouldn’t surprise me if this one has many laugh out loud moments.
Physical Backlist/TBR
In March I want to focus on some of my Fairyloot books. So here are a few high on my list to read.

Cruel is the Light – Sophie Clark
A demon hunter and a foot soldier are forced to work together. We also seem to get some type of forbidden romance? Sign me up! Part of this definitely gives me shadowhunter vibes.

The Glittering Edge – Alyssa Villaire
We have a family feud at work here. If a Barrion falls in love with a de Luca you will die. That sounds pretty dark. This story caught my eye and I’ve seen people say it reads like a CW show. I’m here for that!

What the River Knows – Isabel Ibanez
What the River knows is one I’m not completely sure about if I’m being honest. I’m not much of a historical fiction reader, but the talks of a dangerous game and a rivals to lovers romance has caught my eye. I’ll only know if I like it when I sit down and finally read it.
So here are some of the books I’m hoping to read in March. As you know, I’m definitely a mood reader and that means I could read a whole different list of books, haha. What are you reading in March? Or have you read any of these? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear from you!
