Last month Candyce shared a couple of books on Kindle Unlimited she wants to read soon. And I thought that was a great idea to do as well. I haven’t made that much use of KU and I’m debating whether it’s still worth my money. This year I want to read more KU books, otherwise I’ll cancel my subscription. Today I wanted to share some of the books I hope to read soon, so let’s jump in!

The Poison Daughter – Sheila Masterson

I just started reading this one after seeing some raving reviews online. It sounds like my kind of book, there’s a forced marriage, vampires and a badass FMC. This is also a standalone, which is a nice change of pace, although it is a chunky one with 668 pages.

Dark Fae – Caroline Peckham & Susanne Valenti

I did actually read part of this already. After reading the first 3 books in the Zodiac Academy series I started this one. According to all the reading order guides, that’s the best way to do it haha. This is in the same world as Zodiac Academy, but it’s set a couple of years earlier and at a different school. I’m not super invested, but I do want to know how it ends haha, so I guess I just have to push through a little more.

The Sword of Kaigen – M.L. Wang

I’m so curious about this one! Everyone has been raving about this standalone fantasy novel and I can’t wait to experience it. Some readers didn’t like it at all, and I’m always intrigued by those books. Where will I fall on this scale? I’m happy that this is on KU and I hope to read it soon.
