We’re two days away from May and that means another edition of Middle Grade May. I love participating in this challenge each year. I know there’s a list of prompts, but I haven’t had time to take a look. So today I just want to talk about some of the middle grade books on my TBR that I’d love to read this month. Let’s take a look!

Hollowpox: The Hunt for Morrigan Crow & Silverborn:The Mystery of Morrigan Crow – Jessica Townsend
The Nevermoor series is one I loved after reading the first book and the second book made me love it even more! I’ve been putting off reading the third book, Hollowpox, because the release date of book four kept getting pushed. Silverborn is finally releasing in May, so I’m going to read them back to back. I’m excited to read more of Morrigan’s story!

Amari and the Great Game & Amari and the Despicable Wonders – B.B. Alston
I loved Amari and the Night Brothers! I’m really bad at continuing series, so I’m going to use this month to catch up on the Super Investigations series. Amari saved her brother in the first book, and I ‘m excited to see where her story goes next.

Swap’d – Tamara Ireland Stone
I read Click’d two years ago, but I also own Swap’d. It was a fast and fun middle grade book and it’s time to see what Allie learned from everything she went through in the first book. I love how middle grade books are always filled with life lessons. This one doesn’t seem to be any different.

The Cookie Crumbles – Tracy Badua
The Cookie Crumbles is a book I have an eARC of and actually started reading last year for middle grade May. I love this cover and our two main characters must solve the the mystery of the baking competition that doesn’t go as planned. I just saw that the sequel releases in May as well, so that one may just have to be added to my TBR as well.
So here are a few of the middle grade books on my radar/TBR for Middle Grade May! Have you read any of these? Or have you read any amazing middle grade books lately? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear from you!
