We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!
I have to say that nothing really exciting has happened these last two weeks, haha. Work, spending time at home, and just relaxing. We had a quiet Easter at home, but did stop by a friend’s house to give their cat some food and attention. One of them wasn’t at home when we stopped by, but the other one appreciated all of the love.
I had another week filled of new eARCs/ALCs since last time. There were a few ALCs that were listen now, so I decided to give them a go. Here are the books I now have early copies of: Kiss Me Maybe, Some Kind of Famous, The Ordeals, Love in Focus, Not Safe for Work, Crazy Spooky Love, and Kitty St. Clair’s Last Dance.
Since my last Royal Update I finished reading: A Thousand Broken Pieces, Till Death Do Us Part, Our Infinite Fates, Just the Tip, Summer Fridays, Bridesmaid by Chance, The Griffin Sisters’ Greatest Hits, Apprentice to the Villain, Tom Lake, The Starlight Heir, First-Time Caller, and Wild and Wrangled.
I’m currently reading: How to Fail at Flirting, Murder Between Friends, and A Whole New Ball Game.
Next I’ll be reading: Mickey7, The Prodigal Son, and Kiss of the Basilisk.
Last weekend was watched The Triple Six Eight. It was so good! I never knew about this group of women who delivered millions of pieces of mail to soldiers and their families during World War 2. I’m gad I finally watched this movie.
I was listening to one of Spotify’s daylists and heard a song by Maroon5 I hadn’t heard yet. It’s been quite some time since I listened to them, so I’m a few albums behind. So I listened to JORDI last week.
