Bookish Item | My Audible TBR

I was trying to decide what my next audiobook should be, and I didn’t immediately had an answer. So I decided to look at all the books I already owned through Audible, and not the ones I might want to get with my credits. I ended up finally listening to Ninth House and really enjoying it. So for my next audiobook I picked another one from my Audible TBR. And that let me to writing this post! So let’s jump in haha.

Gideon the Ninth – Tamsyn Muir
Currently reading

I’m currently reading this one and I’m about halfway through. Years ago I started reading this one physically but I put it down in favour of something else and that was it. I never managed to pick it back up, until now. The first half is very enjoyable and I can’t wait to see what happens next.

Paladin’s Grace – T. Kingfisher

This one was included with one of my memberships. I don’t really know what it’s about but I have heard good things about T. Kingfisher. So I decided to just go ahead and try this one!

The Seven Year Slip – Ashley Poston

I have heard great things about this one so when I saw it was on sale I decided to go for it. This isn’t my normal go to genre, but I’m really curious about this one. I have read an Ashley Poston book before and did enjoy that one.

Trial of the Sun Queen – Nisha J Tuli

A contest to become Queen, that’s my kind of fantasy. I have seen reviews all over the place, some people said this reminded them of ACOTAR, others sad it was a Throne of Glass rip-off. Sounds like I have to find it out for myself.

Daughter of No Worlds – Carissa Broadbent

I loved the Carissa Broadbent books I’ve read before and have been wanting to read more by her ever since. This book had some good reviews and came highly recommended., so I decided to download it so I could give it a try.

Shadowblack – Sebastien de Castell

I finally read Spellslinger! And I got this sequel in a sale, so I can continue reading the series. While I didn’t immediately jump into this second one, I do want to read it soonish.

The Shadow Rising – Robert Jordan

I have already listened to part of this book. The Wheel of Time series is one I wanted to read badly, but these books are BIG. This one is about 700 pages and it’s a pretty slow book. I listen to it every now and then, at some point I want to read the whole series.

Air Awakens: The Complete Series – Elise Kova

There are 5 books in this series, and I have read the first three now. This series isn’t as good as I hoped it would be, but I do still want to read those last 2 books so I can finish the series. I also would love to read a more recent Elise Kova book, hopefully that will be more that my liking.

Red Rising – Pierce Brown

I have been wanting to read this one for years. It was one of the big books years ago and I’m still curious to see what that hype was all about.

The Bridge Kingdom #1-#4 – Danielle L. Jensen

I have heard nothing but good things about this series and this author. So when I was able to get my hands on the first 4 books in the series I grabbed the opportunity. The fifth book in the series will be released later this year, so this is the perfect time to start listening to them.

The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August – Claire North

I love the sound of this book and I have seen some great reviews for it. This is sci-fi and the MC has to relive his life multiple times. Usually I read these type of books where they relive just one day, so I’m really curious to find out how this will go.

The Three-Body Problem – Cixin Liu

This is such a classic sci-fi and I really wanted to read it before the Netflix show came out. That didn’t happen unfortunately haha. I do still want to read it before watching the Netflix show. Although I might watch the first episode, just to make it easier to read the book.

The Priory of the Orange Tree – Samantha Shannon

I have heard nothing but great things about this one! And I think I will really enjoy it when I finally pick it u. I love big books, but they are also pretty intimidating. And an audiobook always helps me in that case.

The Lies of Locke Lamora – Scott Lynch

I have owned a physical copy of this one for years and years now. From what I gathered about this book, I think I will really loved it. I have planned on picking it up multiple times. Hopefully I will do so soonish with this audiobook.

Daughter of the Deep – Rick Riordan

This was another one I got on sale. I have to admit, this one isn’t that high on my TBR. Maybe I’ll be in the mood for it all of a sudden, but otherwise it might be a while before I read this one.

A Touch of Darkness – Scarlett St. Clair

I was able to get a couple of Scarlett St. Clair books. Although I haven’t read anything by this author yet, I have heard some intriguing things. This is a Persephone and Hades retelling and I’m really curious about it.

A Game of Fate – Scarlett St. Clair

This is another Hades book by Scarlett St. Clair. And if I’m correct, it is the second book I should read, after A Touch of Darkness.

When Stars Come Out – Scarlett St. Clair

Another Scarlett St. Clair book. This one seems to be separate from the other two books and I think I’m less interested in this one. But the magic system sounds pretty cool, so I would like to try this one at some point, just to see how that magic system works.

Okay, so I have a lot more audiobooks on my TBR than I realised haha. I never expected this post to be so long! But I also have some great books I forgot I had on my TBR. Now I just have to decide which book I will pick up once I finish Gideon the Ninth. Which book do you think I should listen to first? Let me know down below!
