Once again we’ve wrapped up a month of reading, so it’s time to go back to last year and see if we’ve actually read the books we bought. Today it’s time for the February 2023 looking back at our bookhauls. Let’s take a look!
Candyce
In February 2023, I added 6 books to my shelves. When we posted our bookhaul, I had already read one of them and was almost finished with two others. Let’s see if I’ve finished more of them.
Before I Let Go – Kennedy Ryan
Read
Before I Let Go was such a raw and emotional read, but it was so good!! A year later and I still think about this book. Tomorrow the second book, This Could Be Us, releases and I can’t wait to read Soledad’s story.
If We Were Villains – M.L. Rio
Unread
If We Were Villains was a book I really planned on reading, but ended up getting distracted. I do hope to read this one soon, because it still sounds really good.
Do I Know You? – Emily Wibberley & Austin Siegemund-Broka
Read
A couple that’s having problems in their marraige are on vacation and decide to pretend to be strangers while there. As a way to connect them again and maybe get rid of some of the tension. I loved seeing them connect all over again and talk about their issues.
Kingdom of the Cursed – Kerri Maniscalco
Read
When our bookhaul went online last year, I only had about 150 pages left in Kingdom of the Cursed and I was loving it. That continued through to the end and I was so glad I continued this trilogy.
Secretly Yours – Tessa Bailey
Read
Secretly Yours was a fun romance and I have to say that I loved the second book in this duology even more. I was laughing out loud while reading this and I’m glad I picked it up.
Things We Hide From the Light – Lucy Score
Read
Lucy Score wrote an amazing start of a series with Things We Never Got Over and it got even better with Things We Hide From the Light. I loved Nash and Lina’s story and even though this was almost 600 pages it didn’t feel like it. I only have Things We Left Behind to go.
February 2023 was one of those ‘boring’ months last year haha. I didn’t buy any books, or at least I hadn’t yet when I wrote that post. The last couple of days of February I spend in Chicago and New York and I did end up buying some books there but those were all part of my March 2023 haul, so I will be looking back at those next month!
