Bookhaul | February 2023

It’s March 1st, so time to take a look back at February. To start off we want to talk about the books we added to our shelves in March. Did we add any? If so, what books did we get? If we did get any, hopefully we’ve already read a couple, haha. Keep on reading for our February bookhaul.

Candyce

February was a good reading month (which you’ll find out more about tomorrow) and I added some good books to my shelves. In February I added 6 books to my shelves. Not too bad! I’ve already finished one of these and I’m almost done with two others. So I’m off to a good start.

Before I Let Go – Kennedy Ryan

Before I Let Go was a book I saw everywhere before it released and it deserved all of the hype. Look at this stunning cover! A second chance romance that was raw and emotional. I’ll be reading more by this author.

If We Were Villains – M.L. Rio

If We Were Villains is another book I’ve heard amazing things about and if I remember correctly it’s also getting an adaptation. Our main character served ten years in prison and when he’s released the man put him behind bars is waiting for him determined to find out what actually happened. I’m intrigued!

Do I Know You? – Emily Wibberley & Austin Siegemund-Broka

I’ve read a YA book by this author duo, but not an adult romance yet. Do I Know You? sounds like a lot of fun. A couple that’s having a hard time in their marriage pretend not to know each other when a stranger introduces them when he thinks they’re strangers. They use this to rekindle their love. Will it be enough?

Kingdom of the Cursed – Kerri Maniscalco

After re-reading Kingdom of the Wicked and loving it more I just had to continue with Kingdom of the Cursed. As I’m typing this I have about 150 pages left and I’m loving it. I’m glad I do, because these covers are stunning, haha.

Secretly Yours – Tessa Bailey

Tessa Bailey is a hit or miss author for me. I’ve loved and not loved some of her books. Secretly Yours is one I’ve been enjoying so far. This book has made me laugh quite a few times and I’m looking forward to the second book releasing in a few months.

Things We Hide From the Light – Lucy Score

Lucy Score is a very popular author and after reading Maggie Moves On I need to read more by her. Things We Never Got Over is one I plan on reading this week and Things We Hide From the Light is the sequel. I’m glad I get to read these back to back (even if they’re about different couples).

Isabelle

I haven’t bought any books (yet!). Since I’m on vacation, I wrote this post a little bit early. and I will be honest, there is a good chance I did buy a book or two. Or that I will in the coming days. There are a couple of bookstores in New York I really want to visit and I think I can fit one or two books somewhere in my luggage haha. Will share as soon as I get back it that has been the case!

So that’s our February bookhaul. Did you get any new books last month? If so, what books? Any you think we need to take a look at? Let us know in the comments. We’d love to hear from you.
