TTT #154 | Super Long Book Titles

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is Super Long Book Titles. I had a pretty hard time with this one because I only wanted to use books I actually read! So let’s jump in and see what I made of this haha.

My Life Among the Serial Killers: Inside the Minds of the World’s Most Notorious Murderers – Helen Morrison

I’m not surprised this takes the first spot! But I have to admit, I forgot about this book for a bit and that was mostly because I didn’t really like. I believe I disagreed with the author on some key aspects and the story just wasn’t super engaging.

Feminists Don’t Wear Pink (And Other Lies): Amazing Women on What the F-word Means to Them – Scarlett Curtis

I did really like this one! The audiobook was quite good and because everything is so short you fly through it. I remember reading some really interesting things in here and I might have to reread the book.

I’ll Be Gone in the Dark: One Woman’s Obsessive Search for the Golden State Killer – Michelle McNamara

We did a TBR and Beyond buddyread for this one. You can expect a review soon! I did enjoy the book but it definitely wasn’t what I was expecting out of the story.

Quiet: The Power on Introverts In a World That Can’t Stop Talking – Susan Cain

I bought this in London and I really enjoyed it! As an introvert myself I appreciated all the praise we get. Every now and then I thought the book went a bit to far and started painting extravert people in a bad light and that annoyed me. But overall definitely a recommendation.

Dear Iljeawele, Or A Feminist Manifesto in Fifteen Suggestions – Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie

I remember loving this! Its faster than reading the title haha. I listened to the audiobook and sped through it! But I thought it was quite well done and I might listen to it again soon.

Unf*ck Yourself: Get Out of Your Head and Into Your Life – Gary John Bishop

This was a buddyread with a friend of mine and I remember we both really liked this one. I can’t remember but I also know we found some really profound claims that we wanted to implement in our lives. Now I just have to try and remember which ones those were.

I’d Tell You I Love You But Then I’d Have to Kill You – Ally Carter

I loved this! This was around the start of my reading almost exclusively English. These books are quite easy to read but also super enjoyable! I remember being at the stables and watching my mom ride while reading this series haha.

The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks – E. Lockhart

This book is the reason I have Frankie on my name list if I ever get a baby girl haha. I loved the name but I also really enjoyed the book. E. Lockhart is such a good writer and I want more!

Because You Love To Hate Me: 13 Tales of Villainy – Amerie

I don’t read a lot of anthologies but I do remember liking this one. It’s both authors and booktubers I believe and really like some people in both those categories.

Wundersmith: The Calling of Morrigan Crow – Jessica Townsend

This book was just as good as the first book and I just can’t wait for the third book. I love Morrigan and all the trouble she gets in. She is such a wonderful character and I can’t wait to go on another adventure.

These were 10 books on my read-shelf with super long titles! Have you read any of them? And which book has the longest title on your shelves? Let me now in the comments!
