TTT #143| 2021 Anticipated Releases

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is a freebie, so I chose to talk about 2021 Anticipated Releases. I know we still have four more months before the new year, but I’ve already heard about a lot of amazing releases. Here are ten of these books I’m looking forward to!

The Cost of Knowing – Brittney Morris Dear Martin meets They Both Die at the End was the perfect description to get me to want this book. I can’t imagine what it’s like to see the future, especially when the future includes your brother’s death. I have a feeling I’ll need tissues, but The Cost of Knowing sounds amazing!

Much Ado About You – Samantha Young A romantic comedy with a bookstore and sexy farmer? Yes, please!! I’m a big fan of books with bookstores or that has anything to do with books. Much Ado About You has to be on my list for next year.

With You All the Way – Cynthia Hand Romantic relationships can be tricky, especially if sex get involved. Our main character caught her boyfriend cheating, because she wasn’t ready for sex. When she finds out her mother is also cheating, she decides she just needs to get it over with. I’m sure this is going to be a lot more complicated than that, but I’m intrigued.

Hot British Boyfriend – Kristy Boyce Even if a boyfriend seems perfect, is he the perfect one for you? That seems to be the question our main character will have to answer. Also, there’s a trip in England. I loved visiting London, so it will be fun to read a book set in that country.

Happily Ever Afters – Elise Bryant Who doesn’t love a happily ever after? I know I do! I have to start off by saying how much I love this cover. Like I said before about loving books that take place in bookstores or have to do with books, Happily Ever Afters fits as well. Our main character is a writer! I can’t wait to read this story.

Perfect on Paper – Sophie Gonzales A main character that gives anonymous love advice and ends up becoming someone’s personal dating coach. Yeah, this is going to be complicated! That being said, I like complicated. I’ll definitely be reading Perfect on Paper.

Across the Green Grass Fields – Seanan McGuire Not too long ago, I finally sat down and read the books in the Wayward Children series that are already released. This author has such a magical way with words and these books are so unique. I can’t wait for Across the Green Grass Fields.

Aru Shah and the City of Gold – Roshani Chokshi The first three books in this series were a lot of fun and great adventures to read about. The fourth and final book, Aru Shah and the City of Gold, also releases next year. I can’t wait to see what kind of adventure we’ll get this time.

Pride and Premeditation – Tirzah Price Jane Austen with a murder mystery? Sounds like something I need to read, even if I’ve yet to read a classic by this author. I really want to read more mysteries as well, so Pride and Premeditation needs to be on my list.

Reconnected – Catherine Tinker Books with online friendships are something that I love to read about. This one goes a step further when our main characters actually end up in the same place. I know Reconnected will be a book I’ll most likely end up loving!

These are ten releases coming our way in 2021 that I’m really looking forward to. I know I have quite a few more on my Goodreads, but these were some of the first ones I came across! Are there any releases in 2021 you’re looking forward to? Let me know in the comments! Also, feel free to leave the links to your TTT in the comments!

  1. Great list! I wasn’t a big fan of Every Heart a Doorway so I haven’t been reading the Wayward Children books, but as soon as I found out Across the Green Grass Fields has unicorns and centaurs I hit that pre-order button. I hope you enjoy all of these!
