One of the first buddyreviews we did on this channel was for One Dark Throne, the sequel to Three Dark Crowns. We both love this series so it’s no surprise we were looking forward to the third book in the series, Two Dark Reigns ever since. Unfortunately we had some problems with our preorders so it took a while before we got to it. But now we’ve both read this wonderful YA fantasy and want to tell you all about it today! There will be some minor spoilers for the first two books, simply because we wouldn’t be able to say anything about it otherwise. Do you ever just not know what to post about? Normally I have tons of ideas floating around my mind for these bookish items. Today I don’t have the lightbulb lighting for me. So I decide to participate in Book Beginning on Fridays. This meme was created by Rose City Reader.
The idea is to post the first sentence or so of the book you’re currently reading. After that you talk about your initial thoughts about the sentence, book or anything to do with that. I don’t know how often I will do this, but it seems like fun from time to time.
