After finishing one show, I was looking for something else when I came across Ballard. I was intrigued because it had Maggie Q as the lead and I have loved her since Nikita (and also; now I want to rewatch Nikita) and it’s about a cold case ‘unit’. There have been a lot of shows about cold cases that I really enjoyed, so I hoped that would be the case with this one as well. Let’s see what I thought about it! Water Moon by Samantha Sotto Yambao is a book I saw everywhere in the bookish community at the beginning of this year. It has a stunning cover and an amazing concept for a story.

Since my last Royal Update, I actually read a physical book on my shelf that was on my want to read shelf on Goodreads, so we’re starting this post off in a good way!
Down the TBR Hole was originally created over at Lost in a Story. This meme is now being hosted by Jody from I’m Into Books. It looked like a fun and productive way to finally make a dent in that Goodreads TBR. I went through my want-to-read shelf a little while ago but I think I was still to kind on a lot of books.
