We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is Books I Was Reading On This Day Over the Last Ten Years, but I wasn’t really feeling it. So I decided to do next week’s topic; Book Series I Want to Catch Up On. I start a lot of series and I finish way too little of them. So this is a perfect topic for me haha. Let’s jump in!

1. Windy City – Liz Tomforde

I started reading this series not too long ago and definitely enjoyed the first one. Afterwards I immediately started reading the second book and I’m still working on that one. I am pretty far into The Right Move though and I hope to continue reading the rest of the series as well!

2. Green Bone Saga – Fonda Lee

It took me years to finally pick up the first book in the series, even though I was really sure I would love it. I will say, this series isn’t what I expected but I do love it! At the moment I’m reading the third and final book although I have been reading it for quite awhile now, hopefully I can finish it before the end of the year!

3. Finlay Donovan – Elle Cosimano

This felt a little bit like cheating since I only read the first book so far, but I did like it a lot! And with the ending of that first book I do want to read the rest of the series for sure!

4. Zodiac Academy- Caroline Peckham & Susanne Valenti

Are these books good? Maybe not. Are they addictive and fun? Absolutely! So I obviously want to continue reading the series. I am currently a little bit stuck on a trilogy in this universe that I was told to read before diving into book 3, so I hope to continue that one soon.

5. Assistant to the Villain – Hannah Nicole Maehrer

I brought the sequel with me on vacation, so hopefully this one will be crossed off the list soon! The first book was hilarious and I have high hopes for the rest of the series. I really enjoyed reading the book and the cliffhanger at the end left me wanting more.

6. The Inheritance Games – Jennifer Lynn Barnes

I loved the original trilogy (as I have loved most of Jennifer Lynn Barnes’ books), but I somehow never read the last 4 books. Since I loved basically any and all books by Jennifer Lynn Barnes, and especially this series, I know I will enjoy those last books as well and I should really get going on them.

7. Shatter Me – Tahereh Mafi

I wasn’t planning on finishing this series after disliking Defy Me. But I have to admit, after this series was all over my FYP on TikTok the past couple of weeks, I felt compelled to dive back in. After all, I only have one book left to finish the series.

8. Hometown Antihero – Amber Lynn Natusch

I adored the first 2 books in this series and was devastated when the publisher wanted to cancel the series. Luckily the author kept going anyways and now I have 2 more books to read in the series. I have high hopes and should really jump back in!

9. Murderbot Diaries – Martha Wells

This is such a fun series! I read the first novella’s leading up to the full length novel. Even though I loved those, I somehow never got around to reading the full length novel. By now we also got more novella’s, so I should really continue reading the series.

10. The Witchlands – Susan Dennard

I brought Bloodwitch with me on vacation, so hopefully I’ll finally dive back into this series. And afterwards I can continue reading the rest of the series as well. I really enjoyed the first 2 books of the series and I have heard nothing but amazing things about the third book, so I have high hopes!
