It’s Wednesday, so time for a new WWW Wednesday to talk about my reading progress and plans. I really love these posts and talking more about what I’m reading before the monthly wrap up. Even if my reading plans change I like thinking about what I’m going to read!

What did you recently finish reading?

Kiss of the Basilisk – Lindsay Straube

After having this book for over a year and a half, I finally sat down and read it. I’ll be honest, I was a bit hesitant about this one. I’m so glad I read Kiss of the Basilisk. What a wild ride! Yes, it’s a lot of spice. More than I normally see in the books I read, but I’ll be reading the sequel ASAP.

Ruinous Ends – I.V. Marie

After the ending of Immortal Consequences, I’ve been anxiously awaiting the sequel. Ruinous Ends starts right where the first book left off and it’s also a wild ride. While I was reading this book, I had no predictions how this would end at all. The ending was bittersweet, but I had a great time. I really hope I.V. Marie writes more fantasy books.

What are you currently reading?

In Stormy Weather – Chelsea Curto

In Stormy Weather was one of my most anticipated releases and it’s living up to my expectations and then some. I love the storm chasing aspect of this story and I’m loving Quincy and Sebastian. The banter is great and I love that there’s more to both of these characters than meets the eye. Chelsea Curto is definitely becoming one of my favorite authors.

Keeping Score – Brittany Kelley

I’ll never say no to a sports romance, so of course I accepted the eARC of Keeping Score. At the moment I’m about 20% in and I’m having a good time. This is feeling like a reverse grumpy/sunshine and I’ll be surprised if I don’t keep enjoying this one.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Power Play – Chelsea Curto

Seeing how I’m loving In Stormy Weather, I mind as well continue with this author’s backlist. Face Off is one of my favorite sports romances and I’ve been wanting to continue this series. Power Play is a accidental marriage/marriage of convenience romance and I know it’ll be amazing.

Between Two Kings – Lindsay Straube

After taking so long to read Kiss of the Basilisk and loving it, I’ve decided that I’m not going to wait that long to pick up the sequel. Between Two Kings is the next book and I need to know where this wild story is going to go.
