My last Show Sunday post was about upcoming tv shows I was really excited about. One of the shows I talked about was Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed on Apple TV. I watched the first 6 episodes and now I’m (im)patiently waiting for the last 4 episodes. So it seemed like the perfect time to talk about this show today! Let’s jump in!

A divorced mom gets caught up in a perilous web of blackmail, murder, and youth soccer.

I guess I didn’t really know what this was about when I dived in at first haha. Tatiana Maslany being in this was what drew me in and I mostly just went for it. That first episode was a true rollercoaster as I predicted nothing that was happening hahah.

I will say, that is most of this show, because I can not predict anything on this. And I am loving it! This show is not going the usual route and I’m hardly ever mad at the choices the characters make. I also don’t want to say too much, as I personally loved going in mostly blind. It’s is so enjoyable to be shocked by plot twist after plot twist.

Tatiana Maslany is such a talented actress and in my opinion she’s extremely underrated. I first saw her in Orphan Black, one of the most brilliant performances ever and I have been waiting for her to blow up ever since. Hopefully she’ll continue to star in amazing projects and become the big star she deserves to be.

There are 4 more episodes in this series and after the ending of episode 6 I’m so extremely excited to find out what will happen next. I did not predict what would happen (although that is just true for most of the series so far haha) and audibly gasped while watching that final scene. This is for sure an original show and I hope everyone will start watching it!
