Bookish Item| Christmas in July TBR

So I know summer is just starting here on this side of the world, but I’m someone who loves Christmas. Every year, I try and do a little Christmas in July reading. There are some 2025 holiday romances I still need to read as well as a few eARCs for 2026. Let’s take a look at my Christmas in July TBR for this year.

Yours for the Season – Emily Stone

Fake dating your ex sounds kind of tricky… especially when you’re asking to dump him publicly after Christmas. I have a feeling that isn’t going to be as easy as it seems. We all know that feelings are going to be involved and it probably won’t stay that fake. Add in Christmas and I could be a very happy reader.

Date Night in December – Jaqueline Snow

A second chance, marriage in crisis romantic comedy that takes place in a small town during my favorite time of year. Holiday romances are my favorite and having a couple find their way back to each other in that time and place sounds like it’ll be right up my alley. I’ve never read anything by Jaqueline Snow, so I’m hoping I find another new author I love.

A Little Holiday Fling – Farah Heron

I love when there’s a romance between someone who loves everything Christmas and someone who doesn’t get the hype. It’s always special when the one who doesn’t get it eventually sees why the other one does love the holiday. I do have a feeling this one is going to be a bit more emotional.

Not Another Christmas Movie – Ashley Cowan

Our main character wakes up in her worst nightmare: a made for TV Christmas movie in her hometown. To escape she thinks she must do all of the typical Christmas movie activities. I think she’s going to find more than the love of the holiday!

A Very Merry Detour – Court Behr

After being dumped right before the holidays, our main character is still determined to have the magical Christmas she’s always wanted. She seems to think getting her ex back will make this happen but ends up stranded in a Utah ski town. I love that the synopsis says that the love interest she meets owns a bookstore. I’ll eat that right up.

So here are five of the books on my Christmas in July TBR. Three 2025 releases and two 2026 releases! Are you a Christmas fan? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear from you!
