A little bit later than normal, but it’s time for our monthly looking back at our bookhauls post. March is our birthday month, so it can be a bit more bookish. Let’s see what we’ve read from our March 2025 bookhaul.
Candyce
In March 2025 I added 19 books to my shelves. I got to go book shopping for my birthday and it was a good bookish month overall. Let’s see what I’ve read!

A Reaper at the Gates – Sabaa Tahir
Read
This was actually a reread for me, but I’m glad I added these copies to my shelves. I also just realized I need to add the fourth and final book to my collection. I’ve read this series twice now and I definitely see myself revisiting An Ember in the Ashes in the future.

Bridesmaid for Hire & Bridesmaid Undercover – Meghan Quinn
Read/Unread
Last year, I read Bridesmaid for Hire not long after I brought these two home. I’ve actually already read the third book of this series as well. Both books were five star reads for me, so I have a feeling that will also be the case for Bridesmaid Undercover.

Glow of the Everflame – Penn Cole
Unread
Like I said in the haul, Spark of the Everflame was a book I very much enjoyed. So I decided I needed to add the sequel to my collection. That’s when the fourth and final book was postponed again! So I put off continuing this series. We actually just got a release date last week, so I can finally catch up to be ready for the last book.

A Photo Finish – Elsie Silver
Unread
I actually haven’t read A Photo Finish yet and I even unhauled this edition at the end of last year. I saw a boxset of the whole series at the bookstore that I loved more than these. So I still own this book, but not this copy.

Phantasma – Kaylie Smith
Read
Phantasma is a book I read as an eARC and loved it! So I decided it needed to be added to my physical collection. I even did a reread before Enchantra was released. We will be getting a third book in this world and I’m very excited.

My Dark Prince – Parker S. Huntington & L.J. Shen
Unread
This is another example of a series I need to catch up with! The first book was more entertaining than I was expecting and I’m still very intrigued about the characters in the rest of the trilogy. I also still love these covers.

Book Boyfriend – Emily Wibberley & Austin Siegemund-Broka
Unread
Out of all of the books from this haul, I’m surprised that I haven’t read Book Boyfriend. This one is seriously right up my alley. I also have this duo’s next release on my shelves to read. Maybe I need to read them back to back.

Promise Me Sunshine – Cara Bastone
Read
Cara Bastone is quickly becoming a favorite author of mine and Promise Me Sunshine was another book that hit me in all the feels. I really appreciated how she showed that grief is different for everyone.

Wild Side – Elsie Silver
Read
So I still need to read the final book in this series, but I’ll be surprised if Wild Side doesn’t end up being my favorite of this series. This marriage of convenience romance was everything I wanted and I really need to do a reread soon!

My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999 Vol. 5 – Mashiro
Read
It’s fun to see volume 5 on this haul, because I actually just read volume 6 last week. This is still a fun manga series. I will say it’s frustrating that there’s so much time between the release of the last few volumes.

Honey Trap – Tate James
Unread
Tate James is the queen of cliffhangers, so I really do try and binge her books. That being said. I need to finish reading the Hades series before continuing with this one. I really need to catch up with Tate’s backlist.

Loathe to Love You – Ali Hazelwood
Read
So I still need to read the bonus chapter/story, but I’ve read the three original novellas. I did listen to these instead of physically reading, so I also want a reread. It wouldn’t surprise me if I did miss some details when only listening to the story.

A Condition Called Love Vol. 12 – Megumi Morino
Read
Again it’s pretty funny, because I just recently added volumes 14 & 15 to my shelves. I’m still having a great time with this manga. There are a few more volumes published, so I’ll be collecting them as I go.

Kiss of the Basilisk – Lindsay Straube
Unread
Kiss of the Basilisk is a book I keep getting ready to pick up and then get distracted. It’s one I’m still so very curious about. This is a case of you love it or you hate it? The third book/prequel just got announced, so I’m hoping that’s my extra push to sit down with this one.

Firebird – Juliette Cross
Read/Unhaul
Firebird is actually a recent read of mine! The story was pretty enjoyable, but the ending became a bit too cliché/predictable. I really wish the ending became a bit more surprising than it was. I will read the sequel, but I didn’t keep this edition of the book.

Say You’ll Remember Me – Abby Jimenez
Unread
Say You’ll Remember Me is one I’m actually kind of unsure about. I’ve loved quite a few books by this author, but I’ve seen mixed reviews about this release. A friend of mine absolutely loved this though, so I will be giving it a chance soon!

Our Infinite Fates – Laura Steven
Read
Our Infinite Fates was such a beautiful book! Laura Steven’s books have been a bit of hit or miss for me lately, but this one is definitely a favorite. I see myself still thinking about this book years from now.

God of War – Rina Kent
Unread
For the last few months, I’ve said over and over again that I’m waiting to read this series once I am caught up in the reading order the author recommends. God of War is the final book in the Legacy of Gods series and I have all of the books with pretty sprayed edges.
End Result:
Read: 10/19 – 52.6%
TBR: 9/19 – 47.4%
Isabelle
I only got an ebook and an audiobook in March 2025, although is more than I get in some other months haha.

The Golden Raven – Nora Sakavic
Read
I love this series so much, obviously I had to read this book as soon as I got it. At the moment I’m waiting for the audiobook of this one (I have reread the rest of the series through audio again recently) and for the next book in the series!
Audible

Sunrise on the Reaping – Suzanne Collins
Read
Another one I read almost immediately. I’m still not over this book and while I’m excited about the movie, I’m also extremely scared. Usually I would be rereading the book, but I’m not sure I can handle reading this one again to be honest.
End Result:
Read: 2/2 – 100%
TBR: 0/2 – 0%
So that’s another looking back at our bookhauls! Have you read any of these? Or do you keep track of your unread books? Let us know in the comments. We’d love to hear from you!
