It’s Wednesday, so time for a new WWW Wednesday to talk about my reading progress and plans. I really love these posts and talking more about what I’m reading before the monthly wrap up. Even if my reading plans change I like thinking about what I’m going to read!

What did you recently finish reading?

The Fang Arrangement – Sarah Blue

The Fang Arrangement is a vampire/witch romance and perfect for this time of year. We get banter, heartwarming moments, and a bit of spice. Also add a raccoon familiar who is very sassy and you’ll have a great time. I couldn’t put this book down.

What Fury Brings – Tricia Levenseller

I’ve enjoyed YA books by this author before and What Fury Brings is her adult debut. This book didn’t disappoint. I enjoyed the world and the characters. It was also interesting to see that the women were the powerful ones in this world and that the MMC was saved in this one. It’ll be interesting to see where the sequel will take us. I will say that after the author’s note I was expecting this book to be a bit darker than it was.

What are you currently reading?

Cowboy Casual – Holly Renee

Lately I can’t say no to a cowboy romance. Especially one with a pretty pink cover like Cowboy Casual. This is a second chance romance and after only reading the first chapter, I have a feeling I’m going to love this one.

Heavenly Bodies – Imani Erriu

Heavenly Bodies has been on my shelves for quite some time (it was the Fairyloot Romantasy book for December 2024) and I love this cover! The story also sounded amazing. Stars being gods and a prophecy that could kill our main character? I mean that sounds interesting, right? So far I’m loving the banter, the world, and our main character. I really have no clue how this is going to play out.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Blood of Hercules – Jasmine Mas

I have a discussion about Blood of Hercules this Saturday, so it’s probably a good idea to pick up this one next, haha. Blood of Hercules is a why choose, dark romance with a war academy? I mean those sound like things I’ll love.

Mate – Ali Hazelwood

Bride was Ali Hazelwood’s first paranormal romance book and I had a great time. I wasn’t expecting a companion novel in this world, but I’m excited for Mate. Serena is a character we met in the first book and I want to know more. My copy should be arriving today!
