Wishlist Wednesday| Most Anticipated July 2025 Releases

Another month is almost over, and that means it’s time to take a look at books we’re excited about releasing in the next month. We’re actually going to be looking at our most anticipated July releases. How are we already talking about July? Keep on reading to see what books we’re excited about!

Tusk Love – Thea Guanzon (July 1st)

I’m normally not much of a monster romance reader, but Tusk Love caught my eye. The boyfriend has watched Critical Role and I’ve seen and heard things about it here and there. This story takes place in a campaign they played and it was actually written. I have a feeling this is going to be a lot of fun.

Rose in Chains – Julie Soto (July 8th)

This was the fan fiction The Auction (a dramoine fanfic) and is now going to be an original work. I’m really excited to see what this has turned into. The Auction is still on my TBR, and I think it would be cool to read that first and see what of it is still in the end result.

The Irresistible Urge to Fall for Your Enemy – Brigitte Knightley (July 8th)

That title was made for me haha. And when the synopsis mentions this: the first in a slow burn, enemies-to-lovers romantasy duology featuring a scholarly healer and a gentleman assassin and this: a forced collaboration ensues: the brilliant Woman in STEM is coerced into working with the PhD in Murders, you know it’s going to be good!

The Goldens – Lauren Wilson (July 15th)

In The Goldens the main character wants to be a bestselling writer. Meeting an influencer gives her something to write about, but things seem to get weird when said influencer becomes more popular. A thriller with cults? I’m not sure what to expect, but this sounds so intriguing!

Roll for Romance – Lenora Woods (July 15th)

Best friends to lovers in and out of a D&D campaign? That definitely caught my attention. That’s all I really need to know to pick up Roll for Romance.

Maid for Each Other – Lynn Painter (July 15th)

Lynn Painter is one of my favorite authors, so Maid for Each Other has been on my radar for quite some time. A millionaire and a house cleaner romance? I don’t think I’ve read one of those before.

Arcana Academy – Elise Kova (July 22nd)

Magic tarot cards, a fake engagement, a magical school, a thief and a prince and possibly enemies to lovers. Sign me up! Also, Elise Kova is a very beloved author, so I can’t wait to read some more of her stuff.

Not Quite Dead Yet – Holly Jackson (July 22nd)

I loved Holly Jackson’s A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder trilogy, so when she announced her adult debut I was so excited. Our main character has to solve her own murder? I don’t think I’ve read anything like that before. I can’t wait to read this story!

Silvercloak – L.K. Steven (July 29th)

I’m actually currently reading an eARC of this one! We’ve mentioned it before, but we really like Laura Steven. So of course this one went straight on our TBR’s. It has enemies to lovers and a magic system based on pain and pleasure.

So here are our most anticipated July releases! Do we have any in common? Or are there any releases we didn’t talk about you think we need to add to our lists? Let us know in the comments. We’d love to hear from you.
