May is just about over and in two days it’ll be June. That means it’s time to take a look at some of the books I’m hoping to read this month. As you know, I’m terrible at sticking to a TBR, but I still love making them. At the moment, these are the books that are catching my eye. Let’s take a look at my June TBR.
Group Reads

Swept Away – Beth O’Leary
For my June swoonalong, we’ll be reading Swept Away. A one night stand ends up with our two main characters miles away from land on a boat. Being stuck together and having to figure out how to survive together. I’ve heard some mixed reviews about this one, but I’m still very intrigued.

The Gilded Cage – Lynette Noni
I loved The Prison Healer when I read it this month and after that ending I need to read The Gilded Cage ASAP! I can’t wait to see how this trilogy continues. So far I’m really happy we decided to read this for our series slayers.

The Bones Beneath My Skin – T.J. Klune
T.J. Klune has become one of my favorite authors and I’m glad I’ll be participating in a discussion for The Bones Beneath My Skin. I like going into his books not knowing much, but I know it’ll be another book to hit me in all the feels.
eARCs

Atmosphere – Taylor Jenkins Reid
Taylor Jenkins Reid is an author that writes books that hit you in all the feels. It’s been a little bit since we got a new book by her, but Atmosphere sounds amazing. The book takes place during the 1980s Space Shuttle program. I’m not sure how this will hit me emotionally, but we all know that’s exactly what this author is going to do.

The Next Chapter – Camille Kellogg
If a book has main characters that have anything to do with books, I know I need to read them. That’s the case with The Next Chapter. This book also has fake dating and that’s one of my favorite tropes. I’m really looking forward to reading this.

A Dance of Lies – Brittney Arena
This book isn’t one I’ve seen a lot of people talk about A Dance of Lies, but the reviews I have seen are very positive. Our main character is a dancer-turned-spy. The synopsis is giving me some Throne of Glass vibes and that makes me think I’ll love it.
Physical Books/Backlist

Drunk on Love – Jasmine Guillory
I recently read By the Book and it made me want to read more by Jasmine Guillory. Drunk on Love is one I still have on my TBR. This starts off with a one night stand that leads to our main character seeing the guy she never though she’d see again when he starts working at her family winery. This is going to get interesting.

Heavenly Bodies – Imani Erriu
I’m so happy that this was one of the random picks of the month for me. Heavenly Bodies is one that’s been calling to me to read it for a few weeks now. My copy of Heavenly Bodies is a stunning Fairyloot edition. I’ve heard so many good things about this and I plan on going in blind. Hopefully I love it as well!

Daisy Haites: The Great Undoing – Jessa Hastings
Another random pick I’m very grateful for! I’ve been loving the Magnolia Parks Universe even though I don’t like any of the characters, haha. These books are filled with drama, but for some reason I can’t get enough. After this one I only have one more book to be caught up with this series.

Keeping 13 – Chloe Walsh
So I normally only choose three backlist books for my TBR, but I decided to add this one anyway. I read Binding 13 this month and I’ve been regretting not picking up this series sooner. These books are huge, but I’m willing to make the commitment.
So here are some of the books I’m hoping to read in June! Have you read any of these? Or what are some of your June hopefuls? Let me know in the comments! I’d love to hear from you.
