Bookish Item| April TBR

How is it almost April?!? I feel like I’m going to be saying this a lot this year. March has been an amazing reading month so far, and I’ve had quite a few five star reads. I’m hoping to continue this in April, so today I want to talk about my TBR. Keep on reading to see what books I’m hoping to read next month!

Group Reads

Phantasma – Kaylie Smith

I’ve already read Phantasma, but with Enchantra releasing in April, I thought it’d be fun to refresh my memory. So we’re reading this one for my swoonalong read next month. I wonder if I’ll notice anything I didn’t the first time I read it.

A Sky Beyond the Storm – Sabaa Tahir

Our series slayers group will be wrapping up the An Ember in the Ashes series this month by reading A Sky Beyond the Storm. This series is such a wild ride and they’re such fast reads. I can’t tell you about this story, but if you’re a fantasy reader, I highly recommend them.

eARCs

Any Trope but You – Victoria Lavine

When I requested this one, all I needed to know was that the main character is a bestelling romance author. I love bookish books! She flees to Alaska to reinvent herself and write her very first murder mystery. Except soon she feels like she’s living in her very own rom-com. This sounds right up my alley!

Roll for Love – M.K. England

I’ve really been enjoying seeing D&D in books more often and Roll for Love sounds like something I’ll love. This is a sapphic, second chance romance and our main character has Dungeons and Dragons to give her some extra confidence to follow her dreams. I’m so excited about this one.

Physical TBR/Backlist Books

Every month I pick three random unread books to add to my TBR. This month it’ll be four, because one I’m just adding myself. I just really want to read it, haha.

Daisy Haites: The Great Undoing – Jessa Hastings

I’ve been loving the Magnolia Parks Universe and binged Magnolia Parks: The Long Way Home this month. After seeing Daisy here and there and how that book ended, I really need to continue this series. I only have this one and one more Magnolia Parks book before I’m caught up.

Wish You Were Here – Renee Carlino

So far I’ve read a few books by Renee Carlino that I ended up loving. They’ve definitely been emotional, but beautiful at the same time. Wish You Were Here has been on my shelves for way too long. I want to go into this one not knowing much though.

This Could Be Us – Kennedy Ryan

The third and final book in this trilogy releases in May, so it’s really time for me to pick up Soledad’s story. Kennedy Ryan knows how to write very emotional but powerful stories, and I have a feeling that will also be the case with This Could Be Us.

The Right Move – Liz Tomforde

Mile High was a book I really loved (even though I see so many people not loving it) and I really want to continue the series. The Right Move is the next book and a basketball romance. A best friend’s brother situation? Yes, please!

So that’s my April TBR! Have you read any of these books? Or what do you plan on reading? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear from you!
