Bookish Item| March TBR

We’re nearing the end of February and that means March is on its way. That means I’ll be enjoying two weeks off of work soon. I’ll probably get quite a lot of reading done with some extra time off. It will mostly be mood reading, but there are a few books I want to get to! Keep on reading for my March TBR.

Group Reads

A Reaper at the Gates – Sabaa Tahir

Our series slayers group will be reading the third book in the An Ember in the Ashes. Of course I can’t say too much about A Reaper at the Gates because we’re so far into this series. I am having an amazing time though!

Murder in the Dressing Room – Holly Stars

I don’t read enough cozy murder mysteries and Murder in the Dressing Room sounds like it’s so much fun. The first line of the synopsis made me want to dive in right away “Drag queens aren’t just dramatic. They’re deadly…”

eARCs

Fan Service – Rosie Danan

In this paranormal romance our main character is a big fan of a werewolf detective show and built an online fan forum. Even though she loves the show she doesn’t really love the actor who plays the male lead. We all know this paranormal romance isn’t going to be with him. I’m so excited to read Fan Service.

Promise Me Sunshine – Cara Bastone

Ready or Not by Cara Bastone was one of my favorite books last year, so I had to request Cara’s next book, Promise Me Sunshine. I have a feeling this is going to be another emotional read, but I’m looking forward to it.

This Book Will Bury Me – Ashley Winstead

Ashley Winstead is another I’ve been wanting to read more of. I was really excited when I got approved for This Book Will Bury Me. In this book five amateur sleuths hunt for an elusive killer. I hope this one keeps me on the edge of my seat.

Physical TBR/Backlist

My Dark Desire – L.J. Shen & Parker S. Huntington

My Dark Romeo was a pleasant surprise when I read it a couple of months ago, so I’ve been excited to continue with My Dark Desire. The third and final book in the trilogy just released, so I’ll be able to complete the trilogy soon.

A Language of Dragons – S.F. Williamson

A Language of Dragons is one of the books I received with my Fairyloot subscription and is sounds so interesting. A friend of mine actually flew through this one and that has made me excited to start this one myself.

Renegades – Marissa Meyer

The Lunar Chronicles is a series I still think fondly of and I have to say they’re still some of my favorite retellings. Renegades is the release I actually got to meet the author with. So why I still haven’t started this series is beyond me. I’ve heard amazing things about these books.

So here are a few of the books I’m hoping to read in March. Have you read any of these? Or what do you hope to read next month? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear from you!
