Last week Isabelle talked about The 100 Most Popular Romance of the Past Three Years on Goodreads list posted on Goodreads. Out of the two of us, I’m more of the romance reader. So I was curious to see how many I’ve read. I’ll talk about that today as well as some of the romances still on my TBR. Let’s take a look!
Okay, out of the 100 most popular romances on this list, I’ve read 40 of them! I can honestly say there’s none on this list that I don’t want to read, but to talk about 60 books is a bit much, haha. So here are five on my TBR I want to read really soon.
Nora Goes Off Script – Annabel Monaghan
Summer Romance was one of my favorite books last year and I’ve been wanting to read Annabel’s backlist. Nora is a screenwriter who writes her best script after her husband leaves her. I hope she finds a new love and I love it as much as the first book I read by this author.
Play with Me – Becka Mack
Consider Me was a five star romance for me, but I still haven’t continued this series. Which is nothing new for me, haha. This seems to be a captain’s younger sister romance. I’m always up for reading more hockey romances and I enjoyed Garrett as a character in the first book.
When the Moon Hatched – Sarah A. Parker
When the Moon Hatched is one I’ve been hesitant about, because I see so many mixed reviews. That being said, I’m really intrigued by this fantasy romance. I think it being a big book is what has stopped me the most. This year I’ve been reading all of the big books I want, so that’s not something stopping me anymore.
The Spellshop – Sarah Beth Durst
All I know about The Spellshop is that it’s a cozy romantasy and our main character is a librarian. This book also seems to be loved by many. I still haven’t decided if I’ll read The Spellshop physically or listen to the audiobook.
Juniper Hill – Devney Perry
I’ve said this often, but I’m really bad at continuing series, and The Edens is one of those series. The first book was really good, so I couldn’t tell you why I haven’t continued. I have a feeling this is going to be an emotional one.
So here are five of the sixty romances I haven’t read yet that I hope to soon. Maybe I’ll make another list soon of the other romances on this list I want to read. Have you read any of these? Or have you read a lot from this list? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear from you!
