After January was packed with books that sounded amazing, it’s time to take a look at February! The first few months of the year are always filled with books we want to read, so let’s take a look at our most anticipated February releases!
Deep End – Ali Hazelwood (February 4th)
Ali Hazelwood is one of my favorite authors and Deep End is a book like nothing she’s written so far. This steamy college romance is about a competitive diver and an ace swimmer. I don’t think I’ve ever read a swimming sports romance.
The Rose Bargain – Sasha Peyton Smith (February 4th)
The Rose Bargain has a a stunning cover and the story sounds amazing as well! This is the start of a romantasy duology that also has a vicious competition and fae. Need I say more?
The Bones Beneath My Skin – TJ Klune (February 4th)
TJ Klune is an auto-buy author for me and The Bones Beneath My Skin is being released traditionally now. This cover is stunning and I honestly don’t know anything about this story. I plan on going in blind with this one.
Change of Heart – Falon Ballard (February 11th)
I’ve read a few books by Falon Ballard and after All I Want for Christmas, I’ve decided I need to read them all. Change of Heart sounds amazing because our main character, who doesn’t believe in love, wakes up in a town that’s just like a small town from a Hallmark movie. I love some magical realism in my contemporary books.
Scythe & Sparrow – Brynne Weaver (February 11th)
Scythe & Sparrow is the third and final book in The Ruinous Love Trilogy. We’re finally getting Finn’s story. I’m not sure what to expect from this one, but I’m excited to be back in this world.
First-Time Caller – B.K. Borison (February 11th)
A radio host of a romance hotline who has fallen out of love with love definitely makes things difficult. Apparently, First-Time Caller is inspired by Sleepless in Seattle. I’m intrigued!
Emily Wilde’s Compendium of Lost Tales – Heather Fawcett (February 11th)
The first two books in Emily Wilde’s story were so much fun! I’m actually sad that this is the final story. There are definitely still some questions that need to be answered, so I’m hoping we get a well wrapped up ending to this cozy fantasy trilogy.
Rebel Witch – Kristen Ciccarelli (February 18th)
Rebel Witch is the second and final book in the Crimson Moth duology. The first book’s ending left me wanting more and Rune and Gideon’s story is far from complete. I hope we get all the answers we need without it being rushed. That can be the only downside to a duology.
Book Boyfriend – Emily Wibberley & Austin Siegemund-Broka (February 25th)
This married couple have written quite a few books that I’ve enjoyed. Book Boyfriend is one I knew I wanted to read without even reading the synopsis. Devoted fangirl meets hesitant fanboy says just enough! This is going to be such a fun story.
The Charlie Method – Elle Kennedy (February 25th)
Even though I haven’t read The Dixon Rule yet, I know I’ll want to read The Charlie Method. This is an MMF romance, so I’m intrigued to see how Elle Kennedy handles this in a book! I also just can’t say no to hockey romances.
Famous Last Words – Gillian McAllister
I came across this book on a Goodreads list and I really liked the synopsis. Then it starts. Breaking news: A hostage situation is developing in London. The police tell her Luke is involved—but he isn’t a hostage. Her husband—doting father, eternal optimist—is the gunman, who could resist this! I can’t wait to dive into this one.
Our Infinite Fates – Laura Steven
The Invisible Life of Addie La Rue meets This is How You Lose The Time War, this already has me super excited! Combine that with my love for Laura Steven and you get one of my most anticipated releases of the year. I am so incredibly excited to read this!
So here are some of the books we’re really excited about! Do we have any in common? Or have we missed any releases that you think we need to know about? Let us know in the comments! We’d love to hear from you.
It looks like February has a lot of fun releases.
