As we’ve mentioned before, one of our most important reading goals of is shrinking our physical TBR’s. Sometimes it’s hard to think of what books we still have or what subjects to read about. So we needed a way to keep track of this. 5 On My TBR is a way of keeping track. This is a meme hosted by E from Local Bee Hunter’s Nook. Every week there’s a different prompt for five on my TBR.
This week’s topic is Nonfiction. I don’t read a lot of nonfiction books, but I do own a couple so I think I can fill this list with 5 nonfiction books on my TBR. Let’s take a look!
1. Wordslut – Amanda Montell
I have read a bit in this one and I really want to continue reading it. It’s so interesting to see what words meant back in the day and how they are used now. Or how women talk and how they are perceived. I should just read a chapter a week!
2. Sorry I’m Late, I Didn’t Want to Come – Jessica Pan
I love this title! It was a gift from a friend of mine and it fits me quite well haha. Unfortunately this is more about how the author spent a year trying to be more outgoing and how that was for her and less like science based. So that’s not really the kind of nonfiction I tend to enjoy. I would still like to try it but it might not be for me.
3. The Secret Lives of Introverts – Jenn Granneman
This is one of my many ‘introverts nonfiction books’. It’s pretty much my favorite topic for nonfiction books and it seems like I can’t get enough of them. I have read a little bit of this one but I really need to dive back in.
4. Can You Solve My Problems? – Alex Bellos
I love puzzles so this is definitely a cool book for me. It’s pretty disappointing I haven’t done much of these puzzles. They’re pretty challenging from what I remember, it might be nice to do some of these in these darker months!
5. Suspicious Minds – Rob Brotherton
This is such an interesting topic! And maybe with everything that has been going on the last couple of years even more so. I can’t remember when I bought this but I’m really curious to see which conspiracy theories are mentioned in this one!
And these are 5 of the nonfiction books I have on my TBR. Have you read any of these? Would you like to? I would love to hear from you in the comments down below!
