WWW Wednesday #69

It’s Wednesday, so time for a new WWW Wednesday to talk about my reading progress and plans. I really love these posts and talking more about what I’m reading before the monthly wrap up. Even if my reading plans change I like thinking about what I’m going to read!

So it’s time for my next WWW Wednesday. This is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On a World of Words and you participate by simply answering three questions:

  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What are you currently reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

What did you recently finish reading?

Wild Eyes – Elsie Silver

So I was going to read Wild Love before reading the second book in the Rose Hill series, but the Discord book club I’m in had this as a weekly read last week. I couldn’t resist. Skylar and West’s romance was the best and I loved this story! Without a doubt this was a five star read.

Phantasma – Kaylie Smith

Phantasma was a dark fantasy romance that I devoured! I loved the trials, the characters, and the romance. This was a perfect rainy day read and I’ll be anxiously awaiting the next book releasing next year.

What are you currently reading?

Kingdom of Ash – Sarah J. Maas

So I’m finally reading the final book in the Throne of Glass series. Kingdom of Ash released almost 6 years ago and I even went to the bookstore to get this book on release day. Even though Throne of Glass is one of my all time favorite series, I’ve kept putting this one off. At the moment I’m about 100 pages in and I’m loving it!

This Cursed Light – Emily Thiede

After loving This Vicious Grace, I had to continue reading the second book in this duology. I’m buddy reading this one with a friend and we’re having a great time. I really have no clue where this story is going to go. I’m not really liking a new character at the moment, haha.

Better than the Movies – Lynn Painter

Even though I’ve already read this book twice, I’m reading it again. I have an eARC of the sequel releasing next month and I want to be completely back into this story before picking up Nothing Like the Movies.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Somewhere Beyond the Sea – T.J. Klune

The House in the Cerulean Sea is one of my favorite books and I was so excited this was announced. My copy of Somewhere Beyond the Sea arrived yesterday and I’ll be reading this before the week is over.

Nothing Like the Movies – Lynn Painter

I’m currently rereading Better than the Movies, so when I’m done with that I’ll definitely be reading Nothing Like the Movies. I’m excited that we get more of Wes and Liz while they’re in college.

So that’s my WWW Wednesday for this week! Have you read any amazing books lately? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear from you.
