This week the first half of the fourth (and final) season of Emily in Paris dropped. And of course I had to dive in right away. I really enjoy watching this, even though it can be pretty bad haha. Let’s see if I liked these first episodes of season 4.

A young American woman from the Midwest is hired by a marketing firm in Paris to provide them with an American perspective on things.

The new season starts with a recap of season 3, and personally I definitely needed that haha. I totally forgot what occurred in the previous season. But after the recap I remembered most of the important information.

We also got an amazing opening scene, I think it was the best thing they ever did in the show. I laughed out loud and think it was quite helpful as well. We jump right back in with the relationship drama, the main plot line of the show ;).

We also get some side plots but they didn’t feel as prominent as some of the side plots did in previous seasons. I feel like all the relationships are the focus of the show at the moment.

There are 5 episodes in this first part and the other 5 episodes will be released September 12th. Of course we got a bit of a cliffhanger with a plot twist in the last episode. It wasn’t a really surprising plot twist and I hope it will be resolved early on in part 2.

We also got a preview for those last episodes and I hope they won’t try to cram in another love interest. I think I have an idea where the show is going and who is endgame, but we’ll have to wait just a little bit longer. In a little less than a month, we’ll know! Have you watched this first part yet?
